Exactly. I've only ever dropped one show and that was a chance to love. I wrote a comment saying it was too early for me to watch it after they made such drastic changes to the characters, and then i moved on. I wasn't dropping comment after comment saying how much i hate the show. i don't usually get bothered by little things, but when everyone is hating on a character that (in my opinion) shouldn't be hated on, I get annoyed.
I literally opened this page and said "Let's see what hate rants we have today..." It's almost amusing knowing that any series with Mame attached will be a warzone in the comments.
I think you're giving them too much credit for examining issues. I think it was just an incredibly weak plot device…
I agree, but just to give an alternate angle, it might not just have been one moderate lunch, he could have been continuously not eating at home and that combined effect with the heat in Thailand could have caused him to faint.
