Great story, good looking leads, and reasonably alright acting...but the script is ruining it
I started this majorly because the director is the one who also directed the OG Addicted, and NGL, also to drool at Wang Chen Rui....after watching the first 3 episodes, I am divided - the story is good, the actors are also reasonably good, but the script has too many loopholes
BL-Needle Score: 7.5 Reasonably high BL-ness
The leads are really gorgeous and the guy who plays Xu Feiyu, (Sun Xiaoxiao?), seems like a better actor than Wang Chen Rui so far...but the script is a turn-off with too many loopholes
1. Why on earth would Xu Feiyu go around with a bandage on his eyes like that..his family seems reasonably well off with the kind of house he lives in....why would he not have the doctor prescribe him a dark glass or something similar to wear? And then who ties the bandage to him..there is no one around - was it the last caregiver who he drove away?
2. Who cleans that big house and why are they never around? Even though Xu Feiyu has haphephobia, house helps can very well manage around it.
3. His mother is off to a work trip without a househelp even when she knows how sensitive/tantrum-ey he is and the caregiver is likely to be driven away?
4. If Song Yi is so hell bent on finding his half-brother that he actually traveleled to another country to do that, and then he immediately spots him conveniently at his senior's place where he goes seeking shelter, he is expected to be a little more serious about it and not joke around all the time, immaterial to how prankster-ey he is otherwise
In a nut shell, the message so far seems if you want to enjoy this, don't go looking for too much logic and details.
Verdict: Maybe watch to see where this goes because story is good, and the leads are good?
