I don't normally like makjang but I really liked this, it was super fun -- until the last 2 episodes. Totally agree with you that it should jave focused more on the two time-traveling women and their love interests. It just ended up being a mess the second half lol.

I put this on hold (at episode 13, but now debating whether to continue it or just drop it. Can someone tell me if this gets better? It started out funny but now the main couple is getting annoying. I like Hyun Bin but his character here is such an ass - does he improve and change his ways? And FL starts out strong but now she's becoming weak? 😐
Ep 25 has to be my least favorite episode because of so many scenes with the stepmother and the two other Jiang girls storylines, how are they so obsessed with that loser Zhou?!?!?

100%! I really don't understand why so many people can't understand this and use common sense. It's just a rating and totally subjective. Like when you write a review here on MDL, there's a spot for "rewatch value" --- but not everyone rewatches shows even if they loved it. The system is already flawed lol.

Exactly, totally agree with you! And nothing wrong with people who genuinely don't like it voicing their opinions. But there is really no need to do it multiple times every day and spreading hate. Have your say and then move the fuck on, go read a book or go outside or whatever else 😅
Powered through this in a week but only because I fast-forwarded several scenes during the second half of the series (after ep 35). The first half was enjoyable to watch; the second half was aggravating and just too damn much - if I wasn't fast-forwarding then I was yelling at my screen 😐.
I hated about 90% of the characters because they were either too conniving or lame or just plain evil and gross. The only characters I liked were Xiao Qi, Wang Xuan, Huai'en, WX's mother, Yu Xiu, XQ's generals, and some of the minor characters whose names I can't remember.
The ending was actually really good, last episode made it worth the watch. Overall good series but I think I would have liked it more if the series wasn't so long.
