I actually like the direction Pursuit of Jade is taking because it stays true to the female lead’s character. She’s always been a simple girl, her life has been about taking care of her sister, managing small business plans like a pig butcher shop, and looking out for her loved ones. Nothing ground. She’s never had big ambitions like becoming a general. So prioritizing going to look for her friend or returning the displaced people of Lin’an village is very consistent. I don’t understand what some of you are saying. It will be very unrealistic if she suddenly starts wanting to follow the ML to battle to gain military achievement. For Fan Chanyu, saving her friend is more important than any military achievement. FL do not need to borrow the ambitions and goals of ML for us to know that their romance is very strong.
I am glad Chinese battle scenes have evolved, tho it's still not accurate, like in real life mass of soldiers…
😂😂😂😂 I was surprised they won. Because the enemies ate them up but I guess killing a top commander usually weakens morale. I guess that is why they said they won. Soldiers will naturally retreat seeing that.
On other note... one important question..would we love our beloved stars less if they put on atleast 10 to 15…
It is so insane. I didn’t watch a popular modern drama because of this. Looking at the FL was stressing me out. She was all bones. Her fans claimed she needed to look like she was suffering hence why she lost weight. But she didn’t even have weight to lose na😭😭😭😭😭. People go through ridiculous sufferings and add weight or even with their normal weight. How can you try to reduce you weight when you were not even weighing up to 50kg before?
I feel the same. ALL of XZ’s fight scenes have gotten cut incredibly short or cut out completely and the drama…
