Not all drama should be up to 30 episodes. This would have been a good drama with just 16-20episodes. The fillers are exhausting.

I love that she looks like a woman. Her body and height befits her sovereign status. One thing that stresses me about Chinese dramas are women looking underaged or malnourished. Often, their body make certain roles they play look like a joke.

Anyway, just to be petty I rated it 1.5 so that user can choke😂. Maybe later, I would go and correct it.

I said it was unrealistic for couples to date for 7years and not at least share a kiss when I reviewed dream of golden years. I said the leads relationship is leaning towards friendship than relationship and I that I may drop if it continues. Because quite frankly, the other elements of the story were not so captivating and if the relationship was, that could compensate. Then a user came to attack me and seeing that I was using TXW photo as DP instructed me to go watch POJ and wrote almost 7paragraph epistles on how POJ is so horrible done😂😂😂😂. You must like everything they like. No right to say any aspect of a drama you do not find interesting. I noticed this person was going about fighting with anyone who had a negative review and doing fan wars. He or she claimed that we were boys or people who hate the leads. Did I mention that the rating of that drama dropped? Yes, it did and rightly so. The first 6 episodes were so good and I rated it 8.5 and even encouraged people to watch but as it progressed it didn’t do well, so it is natural for people to rate it low. But everything is hate for many people.

I am watching this drama because of the actress. It is so unfortunate, that she has not gotten her breakthrough role. Life!!!

Episode one and I am hooked already. Let’s go. The visuals are a fucking serve. Cdramas are after my life this year. It just keeps getting better. What a year!!!

A lot of people said the “second couple” ruined their experience watching Pursuit of Jade, but let’s be honest, they only “ruined it” for you because you got carried away by pretty faces.

It was a man’s obsession and a woman doing what she had to do to survive, even if it meant being intimate with him. That dynamic was never love, never mutual, never a relationship.

Not every attractive pair that kisses on screen is a couple.
This one wasn’t and was never meant to be.

I am surprised as you are. People only want the main leads to shine. The second couple didn't even have that much screen time and there was nothing romantic about them if people could just look past pretty faces. The FL was “raped” repeatedly. Raped because, she basically put up with his romance to survive. If she wasn’t at least pretending, how would he let his guards down around him?

The highlight of episode 37 was that slap. Thank you Wei Yan🤣🤣🤣🤣.

This series does not deserve a 8.4 rating. 7.9 at best. No chemistry between the leads. Story is draggy, made no sense for the most part. The writer could not decide if he should make it fantasy drama or not. FL as a general is not convincing. Zero aura. Then the series did a good job at reducing her to nothing.

Don’t stress. I have dropped the drama. This is not the first business drama I have watched. If you can not stand people’s opinion on a drama, find the nearest wall and slam your head on it. In fact, let me go on to even leave a comment on how horrible this drama is. Thank you for drawing my attention to it.

I was among the people who asked why the rating of this drama dropped and encouraged people to watch it. But as I continued, I understood why. The drama is getting dry and the romance that is supposed to keep it together is bland. You can wail for all I care.
