Ep 17....The flow of dialogues didn't make sense kinda disjointed...Chen Yi - Pouring his heart out on his idea…
I think the context is that he has been behaving like a coward towards herš. So he needed to do that dare to prove he wasnāt.Thatās the explanation I gave myselfš
Iām not usually a big fan of cdramas but thereās a very unique element in them that I rarely find anywhere…
They focus on character development more than the story itself. They make you so attach to the characters too. I love love them for it. When he gave her that back hug, something toggled in my stomach.
Can we please have more realistic adult romances in dramas?
I understand the appeal of the āIāve only ever loved youā trope, but itās becoming too unrealistic. Youāre telling me a man in his Mid to late 20s especially one living in a dangerous or complicated world has never dated, had a casual relationship, or even a friends-with-benefits situation while his first love was away for six years?
Instead of forcing a fake girlfriend storyline, why not make it a casual relationship or friends-with-benefits arrangement that naturally ends once his first love returns? That feels far more believable.
Realistic adult relationships donāt make a love story less romantic they make it more convincing. It is not just this drama. It happens in almost all Chinese romance drama. Script writers, we are not all kids leaving in bubbles. It is okay for adults to have multiple relationshipsš
Common that was a hoax. She knows he would change his mind when she pulls that stunt. He was determined to drive her away and she was determined to stay and she knows he would not sell. Thatās her last shot
Many people just can not stand when women act like adults. If you watch this show without infantizing the ML, you will see clearly that MJ is still down so bad for him and she is trying her possible best to be with him and get him out of the shit hole he is in despite his numerous attempts to send her away. She may not be doing it in a way that makes her look vulnerable or cutesy like most people always want women to be, but she is doing well and he will come around.
I love MJās character and I donāt understand what people are bitching about. lol. You want her to be begging him and be doing puppy eyes? The ML needs a tough hand so he can get his life together. He wronged her first by deciding what school, city she should go without her consent and also ended things with her abruptly without any consideration of her feelings.
Please where did MJ try to sell his house? I saw some people wailing about it and I have watched until episode 15 and I watched no such thing. What is the anger about?
