I am glad the audience can humanize her and see that it is not black and white with her. Bad as she may, she is a victim too. A character who has no control over her life.

I am showing solidarity for a fictional character. Why is that getting you all walked up? She is a villain to you. She isn’t to me because I understand that she is a pitiful woman that was used and discarded. It really doesn’t matter if she dies. At least, she dared to keep a lover and experience love. This is the only thing she has had the liberty to choose in her entire life. A man would not get killed for that. It would be justified.

Can you not understand that this is a commentary? Am I all people? I don’t mind if he has 10wives because that is what is obtainable in that era. No, she does not have to fall in love with him. She can get married to him for survival because that’s the only way women could survive in that era. I am relaxed. You are the one who is not relaxed. I am going to keep running commentaries on how I feel about each characters as the drama progresses. Brace up. It is okay to sympathize with the male lead. I won’t. The SFL is a pitiful character with grey area. I will not pile on her if that is want you expect us to do. I hope she gets a lot of orgasm before the writer gets rid of her. That’s the only choice she has dared to make.

So to speak about injustice done to women in that era is a problem? What is bad to look at it from feminist lens? Why should I waste my empathy on a male who has basic rights? If the female lead gets married and have children and so? We will still call out what needs to be called when it gets there and extend her grace because I am almost certain that as a woman and a slave that she is, she would also have little or no choice. So it is expected. How would she make anything for herself if she does not get married. Women can’t even run businesses, go to school or work. What other choice do they have?

How did humans across different cultures think it was okay to own slaves and dehumanize humans because they were slave. We are so lucky to be born in this Era. Maybe I would have been a slave if I was born in those era.

Another thing writers do is create unrealistic pictures of MLs in this era. No man in this Era would not keep other women especially if they are being denied sex. They always tone down the typical male behaviour in this Era just so the SFL will get the most heat and people would sympathize with the men. Sorry, I won’t. I don’t care if she cheated. Nobody is going to convince me that someone who does not have a basic right is less pitiful than a man who would never know what it means to be a woman who can only dream of motherhood. These women don’t have even have the basic right to choose their spouse.

Nobody hates him. The writer is trying to paint him pitiful but nobody is as pitiful as his wife and the women in general who were striped off basic rights just because they are women. Women were just tools men use to advance their interests in that era. It is not hatred to spell it out. The fictional character is the problem not the ML as a person.

I don’t like the schedule of this drama. Drop all two episode once for Pete’s sake

Sorry, I can not feel any ounce of pity for the ML. I feel so much pity for his wife. Women had it harder than men by far in ancient times. They don’t have many option.

I don’t know how I feel about watching this. I have not enjoyed the FL latest projects. Not a big fan of the ML. Sigh.

Does any one know why it was cut from 32 episodes to 24?
