Yep, I'm actually intrigued with the plot and I don't mind much politics. I also love intelligent main leads,…
The costumes are just there. Nothing to look forward to.

Just a friendly advise: you should open a blog or submit an opinion column in various news websites / newspapers,…
Another example is the song Shakira sang for FIFA. That song was not originally hers. The chorus was originally sung by a musician in Cameroon in the 80s. But she took the credit for it and lied that the chorus just came to her head.

The music from Nigeria is doing well. There is hope. But guess what, Beyoncè took the credit for exporting afrobeats😂😂😂. Our skin colour does not make a lot of people treat us fairly. We could be doing things for donkeys of year and nobody will take it seriously. In some cases, we will be mocked for doing things a certain way. But once a foreigner especially a white person begins to do that same thing, the credit goes to them.

Nah. It is not about helping people. Take for instance every country in Africa that the US has been to in the name of offering charity and doing peacekeeping has ended up worst than they have ever been. The beauty industry and telecom industry are striving for the hard work of poor malnourished kids in Congo. Foreigners exploit this kid to dig up the mineral resources they will need to make their products. Phew!!!! Oh well, to be fair, the black leaders in those countries are just as bad. They will sell their people for crumbs that they do not even need.

They should just simply stop featuring us. Not like their two-minute features of us those any good to us. If anything, it makes people think so little of us. There are people who legit think we have lions as pets because of these silly stereotypes. SMH

Do you think no one has done that? Every time this happens, many of our people in the diaspora do this but it is simply ignored. The US is the most guilty. They even go as far as doing African accents when there is no such thing as an African accent. Accents are dependent on what country you are from in Africa and even in the country, not everyone speaks the same because of the numerous languages. My country has over 250 languages with English being our official language and pidgin English the most widely spoken.

Then again. No one listens to those types of songs in my country. That is a fucking soundtrack from the lion king that I saw as a teenager 13years ago. What we listen to is Afro beats/pops and other imported music genre. Thank you for not dismissing my anger BTW. My friend in the US always rants about how people ask them ridiculous questions over there. Questions like how did you come to the US? Do you also have lions as pets? Oh, I have a friend who is from Africa. Her name is Jane and she lives in Africa, do you know her😂? Can you make sounds like an African? I thought she was exaggerating until I started hearings others rant about it too. Yes, a lot of African countries are third-world countries but we are more than how we are being portrayed. We go to school, we speak good English, some French, and our local dialects. We have phones, laptops, local and international flights, cars, travel outside our country, have young influencers making a lot of money off social media, have celebrities that are obsessed with luxurious living, etc.

It seems like some people in these comments don’t understand why others are upset about this drama. I also know…
I was so pissed. I am dropping the drama. Imagine the sound track. Mtcheeeew. I am 29 the last time I listened to that souI track was about 15years ago when I watched lion king. I kept asking what country in Africa did this people go because you will not catch anyone in Nigeria playing that song if they are not watching Lion King cartoon.

I seriously want to know why african tour is controversial? It would nice if explained from an african pov.I read…
Because it is BS. We are sick of people always projecting us that way and sick of people not knowing that Africa is a continent and not a country. We don’t even know what country in Africa they went to. Rubbish!!! What the hell is the second well of life?

Honestly, I am pissed!!! If Koreans want to feature Africa in their movie, they should do it accurately. For the umpteenth time. Africa is not a country!!! Africa is not a country but a CONTINENT!!! I have to officially sign up just to say this. We are tired of people going to one country in Africa and saying they went to Africa. Y’all portray us as starving illiterates but we know better than y’all do. We know that South Korea is a country and that it is a place in Asia. We know east Asia, we know south Asia, we know the difference between North Korea and South Korea and most of us have not even traveled outside our country. But every time people who shoot dramas who are supposedly celebrities shoot dramas and feature ‘Africa’, they can’t do simple research to tell us what country in Africa they went to. Every fucking time!!! Then they go to the poorest part of a country in Africa. What the hell is the second well of Africa??? Who told you, people, that Africans don’t have drinking water? Why the hell was that child going about without slippers? Y’all should stop this!!! We love to watch your movies and quite frankly we do not want to be featured in them especially since you people keep doing a bad job with it. This is 2022. Read guys!!! Countries in Africa are just like countries in every part of the world. We have extremely rich folks, the middle class, and the poor. We have urban areas and rural areas like other countries. Stop going to the rural area of one country and call it Africa. Jeez!!!! I am currently in Abuja, Nigeria. I am in my estate and I am typing from an iPhone that has a wifi connection and I walk around my self-contained apartment with the fur slippers I purchased online. Thank you!!!
