Waited 2 seasons for that press conference. I'm on the edge of my seat. Finally, the moment has come. What this…
Lmao. This was me. I had to fast forward through that mess. Two seconds was dedicated to the actual crime that was committed, and the rest of that conference was about James and Ait. There was no big moment where Tee was really called out, and Bas x Marco barely got screen time. The only way to even remotely explain the foolishness of that last episode is if there's a season three, and even then it's a stretch because that finale is crap.

Title Don't Say No
Sooo I'm mostly interested in this show just because I've wanted to see Ja in a main BL role for a while now.…
You don't really have to watch either TharnType series to be up to date, just watch the special episode that came out before this series. It's missing some bits from TT2, but not enough that you have to actually watch TT2. The special episode just doesn't show Fiat meeting Type and basically harassing him, but the episode does talk about it, so you can still get the point.

Take it from someone who actually watched TT1, do not waste your time on TT2 because if you couldn't finish the first series that is 1000X better than the 2nd one, then you're not going to get through TT2. I couldn't even finish the 2nd season, and I actually liked the 1st one/

The show doesn't have to end because of the actions of one person. While I wasn't a big fan of this show as I'm…
"The studio behind that is a moderate one, not even they have the power of being "untouchable", let alone a screenwriter."

And yet that screenwriter used the power he thought he had to allegedly sexual harass three people.

"Absolute bullshit. Whatever he may or may have not done, Philippines is not Thailand. BLs are not gigantic money-making machines. They are passion projects, like this one, in desperate need of sponsors to get made."

What does this project being a money-making machine or not have to do with what I said? And if anything, the fact that this is a passion project, and one that is in desperate need of sponsors to get made at that, that fact would only make the screenwriter feel even more like the big fish in a small pond as it was initially his characters and his writing that made this show in the first place.

The quality of his show/writing is what brought in sponsors, and assuming the accusations are true (I have no reason to believe they aren't), he would have no doubt had this knowledge in his mind while he was on a power trip abusing people he thought he had control of.

Just because I know and you know no one is truly untouchable, not even in the money-making Thailand BL industry or in the American entertainment industry, it doesn't stop people like this alleged predator from thinking that. Just look at who made the accusations: The lead actor of his show, a show he likely thought he had a lot of power of because like you said, the company that makes it is a moderate one in desperate need of sponsors.

His work brings those in, he therefore felt needed and protected from facing consequences for his bullshit (it's not like others in his position haven't been), and so he allegedly did what was accused to the people he thought he could do it to.

So I stand by my statement which you quoted first, if they can pull of creating a second season of this show, a show that was his first: his passion, his hard work, and his creation, and take it back, rewrite it, get sponsors, and it comes out a big success without him, that indeed would be a big F U to him and show him that he wasn't as important he thought he was.

"This comment is the prime example of the 21st century new middle ages mindset of "everyone is guilty until they prove their innocence". Spanish inquisition seems like a tea party in comparison. Sigh."

As for your last spiel, my comment is in response to the OP of this comment chain, and other statements of its nature, that essentially say that if the accusations are true, then this show shouldn't be made or supported anymore. My comment is my answer to that argument which is made clear by its first sentence.

I'm not directly remarking on what was accused and stating a position on whether I think he's guilty or not with arguments for or against each merit. That is not what my comment is about or its focus. The point of my comment is assuming the accusations are true (implied: as like you've pointed out there's been no trial, and I'm not psychic to already know the verdict) then this is how I feel about them moving forward with the project.

Obviously if the screenwriter didn't do what was accused, then my comment doesn't apply.

Serious accusations of sexual harassment directed towards the show's creator (Severo) has recently come to light.…
The show doesn't have to end because of the actions of one person. While I wasn't a big fan of this show as I'm not the audience directly for it, I recognize how important this show is not only to the viewers who were able to connect to it, but also to the team of staff and actors who created it.

One of the survivors who came forward is a lead actor of this show. Why should he no longer get to work on a project he holds dear to his heart just because that predator chose to target him and others?

The predator has been fired. His career, at least with the company involved with this show now, is done. Why should ever one else have to suffer with him, especially the people he violated? They'd basically be getting punished for the actions of the predator who harassed them.

Not everyone who is calling for them to move forward with a second season like they planned is doing so out of selfishness or because they don't care about the accusations levied against its original creator. I for one had little to no intentions of watching a second season of this show.

However, if they manage to pull of creating an entirely new script with the predator, then I will support them because any success that they can pull off without that scum, despite everything he did to potentially destroy what they all worked so hard for to build, would be a big F U towards him.

Also, it'd be a great way for those he victimized to show him that he isn't as powerful, needed, or untouchable as he more than likely claimed he was when trying to use his position as the creator of this show to harass them.

Ugh. Okay. I was not excited for this at all after the utter disaster from last week, but alas, I am contractually…
The way I just cackled at this lmao. You went in lmfao, and then ended it with "I'll probably be back next week." I'm DEAD. That's how I be feeling about a lot of these shows: "This is TRASH! Okay, well I'll see you next week lol."

All them sinks right there not being used and not a one was turned on for Bbomb to wash his hands. His poor phone did not deserve that disrespect.

I'm dead from this comment lmao. I'm actually liking this show for some odd reason, but your review of this episode…
Yeah, there was a lot of sulking. They really dragged that conflict out to the detriment of the show/episode. I think they just don't have much material hence the constant flashbacks of the same scene from different parts and POV, slow motion scenes of events that don't need them, and 40 minutes of sulking for a conflict that could have never been if just one of the people in the relationship had just a fraction of a brain lol.

But there are some redeeming qualities to the show, namely the actors, and I do really like most of the characters and their dynamics.

Why end a season on a cliff-hanger if another season isn't guaranteed?! Cliff-hangers are for when you know your show is coming back and can wrap it up. Doing it during any other situation is just saying to viewers you don't care about us. I understand their reason for not doing a season 2, but if them making a season 2 was conditional, then they should have never filmed a cliff-hanger at all or they should have had an alternate ending ready to go in case they couldn't film a season 2.

As someone who actually watched this show legally on GagaOOLala, this just makes me not trust the creators of this show, and I either A) will not support their projects, period, going forward because who knows when they'll throw in another unwarranted cliff-hanger, or B) won't pay to see their projects again because I'm not in the habit of throwing money at unfinished things, and clearly they don't mind half-doing a show.

Plenty of shows make endings for their seasons that can act to both wrap it up as a series finale and act as a potential bridge for more to be added on later. One of my favorite American shows, Leverage, did this for every finale where another season was up in air. And when the show was eventually canceled. they wrapped it up appropriately while adding an ending scene that showed it could pick up where it left off any day when/if ever it was renewed. Papa & Daddy could have done that if the people involved cared, but nope.

The ending certainly changed the rating of this show for me. Watch only if you like/don't mind never knowing the ending of shows that you watch.

I'm loving this show so far. It's actually quickly becoming one of my favorite BLs, and we've gotten more kiss scenes from this "pretend" couple than we get from the main couples of most BLs.

This was a cute show. I went in knowing I would have to suspend disbelief, so I'm not as upset about the obvious plot holes. The acting wasn't bad to me given the script they had to work with, and I feel like the show pulled off what it was trying to do which is be a cute, little short historical BL that has a touch of sweetness and comedy.

Nubsib deserves better. Gene was a disappointment this episode smh. All that fighting with their families to be together, only for him to let strangers, and a bunch of nobodies who can't even do their jobs right, tear his relationship apart and convince him to break his partner's heart. To say I can't relate doesn't even begin to cut it. Just on principle he should have told them all to fuck off.

I wish someone would try to tell me to break up my relationship because of a bunch of delulu fans with no lives and an attention-starved actor with a crush and undiagnosed mental illnesses.

And don't even get me started on Tiffy with her bitch-ass and Tum's puck-shuffling ass sister, acting like she's the victim in all of this, please. Usually Bua is the character I hate the most in each episode with her perverted ass, but everyone else besides Nubsib (and to a lesser extent Hin) were so trifling in this episode that she somehow manage to not be the worst.

This episode made me want to commit multiple crimes not short of attempted murder, so that a testament to the actors' abilities, but now there's next to nothing they can do to make pretty much any of the characters even a little bit redeemable to me, and as a writer myself, having nearly every single one of your characters be so unlikeable this close to the end of your series is stupid. I'm curious on how they are going to try to turn this mess around next week and end this show in a way that won't seem too abrupt or dissatisfying to fans.

I'm walking away from this episode liking 1 and a half people and the show ends next week. I hope the writers of this show knew what they were doing in creating this episode and have a full-fledged plan on how to justify Gene and Nubsib getting back together because if it were me. I wouldn't trust Gene with my heart ever again. He has walked away from or rejected Nubsib how many times at this point now? Like, no. If i were Nubsib we'd be done, done. So done we're burnt.
