ChengYi: If you keep going, you will reach your destination
At a certain point, ChengYi decided not to have any specific visions about the future, and was not willing to rely on time to measure his achievements. Holding the steering wheel in front of him tightly, he walked through one journey after another with determination. This is the methodology he found in the continuous evolving world, and it will eventually take him to a future that he had never imagined in the past.

ChengYi sometimes recalls the time when he was filming "Tang Palace Beauty World". At that time, he had just entered the industry, and any movement on the set made him curious. Because it was his first play, he was always more nervous than confident. He memorized the lines at home every day, simulated the scene, and did it again after the performance. A month before entering the set, he was already completely familiar with the thick script, "There shouldn't be any problem", he thought secretly. As a result, when he arrived at the set, he was still confused. He heard the director shouting "Why is the person not in the camera position anymore", and he realized that he had already been out of the camera frame. Much of the processes on the set were beyond ChengYi's expectations. In the past, from the perspective of an audience, he felt that filming should've always done in accordance with the development of the story from the beginning to the end. After he really became an actor, he found that it was not the case at all. Sometimes on the first day of going to the set, the filming was already skipped to the final scene. When others asked him what he thought, he just felt puzzled, "The first scene was the scene of the character 's death in the finale. I haven't experienced anything before. What kind of emotion should I have when acting this way?" Later, he finally figured it out - he could only rely on himself to practice slowly, and if it didn't work once, he would try again to understand what the entire crew and the play really needed.
This principle is not only use to figure out the emotions of the characters in the play, but also to the understanding of different life experiences. ChengYi has not actually come into contact with many professions. Before acting in "Draw The Line", he could only rely on his preconceived impression of judges when watching TV dramas before. It was not until he actually went to real judges at work and practiced it in later stages that he realized that a profession is much more than what public see from a distance. When he participated in programs related to forensics also gave him the same experience, ""For the rights of the living, for the words of the dead/to speak for the dead, to protect the living," any profession has untold bitterness and difficulties, and he understands this more and more.
He also understand the principle idea between giving and receiving. In the first few years of filming, ChengYi often filmed day and night, and it was common for day and night to be completely reversed. He didn't feel tired and always went to the set with enthusiasm. Therefore he want to spend more time on acting and try his best to play each role well.
Devoting yourself work for along time of course will lead to fatigue, but ChengYi chose to change his perspective to digest it well. "I will be very happy if I play this scene well today. I will also have a sense of accomplishment if I do it well tomorrow. With this thinking, being tired is not something worth complaining about. Instead, you will feel that something good will happen every day." Once this mentality becomes a habit, people will have some kind of infectiousness. "When you love your job enough, you will naturally gather a group of good enough people. Perhaps this is a law of attraction? What kind of person will find what kind of friends."
ChengYi is also enjoying the process of working together with his team more and more. In his view, every story has its own unique features, and how to bring out the characteristics of the characters is inseparable from the efforts and wisdom of every staff member. During the preparation stage of each drama, ChengYi would often chat with the director, screenwriter, and other staff on the set, thinking about how to add a little new vitality to the characters and bring something different to the audience. The filming of "Mysterious Lotus Casebook" is the same. Everyone will always get together to give opinions on a certain point, and imagine whether the logic of the characters is smooth. After filming for a long time, ChengYi feels that he has become a little different. When he was in his teens and twenties, ChengYi was particularly lively. If he can't squeeze out enough time to exercise during work, ChengYi will pay special attention to salt intake and carbohydrate content, and try to prevent himself from edema. On the one hand, ChengYi also watches sports events during his breaks, especially track and field, table tennis, swimming and other competitions. ChengYi sometimes recalls the time when he was filming "Tang Palace Beauty World". At that time, he had just entered the industry, and any movement on the set made him curious. Because it was his first play, he was always more nervous than confident. He memorized the lines at home every day, simulated the scene, and did it again after the performance. A month before entering the set, he was already completely familiar with the thick script, "There shouldn't be any problem", he thought secretly. As a result, when he arrived at the set, he was still confused. Much of the processes on the set were beyond ChengYi's expectations. In the past, from the perspective of an audience, he felt that filming should've always done in accordance with the development of the story from the beginning to the end. After he really became an actor, he found that it was not the case at all. Sometimes on the first day of going to the set, the filming was already skipped to the final scene. When others asked him what he thought, he just felt puzzled, "The first scene was the scene of the character 's death in the finale. I haven't experienced anything before. What kind of emotion should I have when acting this way?" Later, he finally figured it out - he could only rely on himself to practice slowly, and if it didn't work once, he would try again to understand what the entire crew and the play really needed.
This principle is not only use to figure out the emotions of the characters in the play, but also to the understanding of different life experiences. ChengYi has not actually come into contact with many professions. Before acting in "Draw The Line", he could only rely on his preconceived impression of judges when watching TV dramas before. If he can't squeeze out enough time to exercise during work, ChengYi will pay special attention to salt intake and carbohydrate content, and try to prevent himself from edema.
