Yes, i think people just being mean, many people praised his line delivery in the drama. He is always become hot talk recently, i guess many people envy of him, i mean even the supreme court praised him for his acting. For me, as long his voice can deliver the emotion needed is already great. I found sometimes dubbing lack in emotion delivery. I think he could adjust his voice perfectly according to Zhou Yi An's personality and situation he come across. Like when he is around his family and colleagues, he spokes more brisky and coquettish. And when in court or meeting with people involved in the case, he speak more in authoritive tone, and a bit deep/lower his tone. I think voice for actor is more to convey emotion, just like singing a song, eventhough we may not understand the lyrics, but we could feel the emotion that the singer bring with their voice.

Although LXY's situation is not an urgent situation according to the law, but they pretty much in hostage situation, he and his mom are being followed everywhere. And after what happened to his mom, although they could avoid the 1st time, who would know if they could avoid the 2nd time. And the more longer they are in that situation, he is more and more desperate, and losing his mind. For him, the threat is there, and nobody around him could help them.
I really like how the drama portrayed everyday life of working people, how we struggle in every hard decision we make at work, how to deal with the pressure. The story flow naturally, no paparazzi, no over the top press conference that you often find in chinese modern dramas 🤪🤪🤪 No boring scenes too. And it really show that the scriptwriters really studied and understand the real life of law civil servants.
