The Tower scene is the main summary part of the novel. It's my most waited scene during this drama airing.
If in OG, YXW and YBC are the choices, I still feel logical, because YXW is still TTJ's wife, while YBC is his concubine. Whereas in the drama, YBC is only his sister-in-law, does TTML still think that YBC is TTJ's white moonlight? Many commented that the reason for choosing YBC was XL, but I don't think that's the reason.
When given time to think, TTJ saw YXW who was ignorant of him, so he thought he still wanted to show his hatred for YXW, he also touched the Yin Yang bracelet which he believed would guarantee YXW's safety, so with that thought he chose YBC. About the statement "you hate me, and I hate you to the bone...never meet again in another life" I think YXW said that so TTJ would continue to hate her (forget about her) and move on with his life after YXW died (LSS thought she would die after receiving the lightning punishment and didn't think that she came back to the future with evil bones sealed in her body)

The conversation between TTJ and imaginary LSS (puppet LSS) is almost the same as in OG, it's just that the difference is, in the drama, TTJ knows LSS's feelings for him (ep.35, ep.39), while in OG, LSS never confess her feelings and TTJ too not sure how LSS feels for him. What they both know (OG TTJ and Drama TTJ), he will become her enemy if he becomes DG.

Remind me about what YXW/LSS said when she teaching TTJ writing a charms. Immortals have no love, let alone personal love, even if there was love in the previous life, the memory has long been washed away by the spiritual spring of transformation Nothing left, except Dao Heart.

maybe I'm confused with OG, because its said YXW died in the second year of his reign. While in drama it may be different. Like TH, in OG, she was unconscious (coma) for 100 years, while in drama it was only 3 months.

Some videos have diffrent subtitle, but originally TTj just write "Husband of YXW". He knows that YXW/LSS loves him as TTJ, but doubts does she still loves him after he becomes DG?!?!... For LSS changes it, I don't know it.

Imagine that 10000 years mortal = 100 years in immortal realm. LSS go to the past 500 years ago, so estimates only 5 years in immortal realm. Actually several days TTJ in immortal realm means several months in mortal realm, just like LSS in barren abyss for sometimes but actually months in mortal realm. Its the reason why immortal aging slowly than mortal

During my time watching and reading Xianxia stories, the only difference between an immortal cultivator and a devil cultivator is the path they choose, the path of immortality (daoism) through immortal sects or the path of magic. We see in this drama, the members of the immortal cult, not all of them are good people, but becoming immortal or not all depends on the level of strength. There are those who naturally work hard to level up, but there are those who use potions and artifacts to speed up the level up. TTEOTM shows that people who are destined to become devils will not always be evil if they are introduced to goodness (TTJ), while people who are destined to become Gods/Goddesses will not become good god/goddess if there is evil in them (TH).

Since all viewers know that TTJ only acted to make LSS hate him so she would return to the heartless way of becoming a true god, I think he threw her to lightning punishment (an incarnation-abandoning array) as an alternative to accelerate LSS to become a true god since LSS still seemed hesitant to let go of her feelings. In OG, the heartless way is the fastest Dao way with no lightning punishment
