Finished watching and i will say it's very good but not quite the level of joy of life .
Like others have said fight scenes are cringe af like who the f thought slow motion fighting was a good idea sigh .. like one fight takes a whole freaking episode and it's boring af .
Other thing I didn't like was main character's drip lmao what is he wearing freaking drags the whole show 😭 it looks hideous . The clothing is definitely on the lacking side compared to joy of life and costumes are one of the main reason I like to watch historical dramas so this takes one point off . Overall would say 8/10 for the show
does it get better? i started the first season 3 times and barely made it to episode 4
Ofcourse it's one of the best shows ever made imo. And I dropped this show as well many well . The reason was introduction of the female lead . But what kept me going was his relationship with his family which is very wholesome .
I would say after episode 14 is when it gets very exciting and then it gets better and better . Female lead is pretty bland tho so might have to skip a lot of her scenes during those 14 episodes ... After episode 14 she appears less and less and it becomes more about politics.
I don't know how they will develop her story, but for the country with one of the most unrealistic beauty standard…
Tbh I don't have much knowledge about eating disorders and such so I'm gonna keep quiet about this
my comment is more on ground level like it takes quite a lot of effort not just losing it but also gaining it on purpose combined with how uncomfortable it might be for the rest of the crew to u know wait around for some scenes for months .. it just doesn't seem feasible
So are people actually expecting her to gain weight fr & then spend 6 months to an year to lose it all just for a couple of episodes? seems unnecessary imo body suit is fine .
That's why it so sad. Viewers like us who into thriller drama were lesser compared to those into romcom.
I have seen other HHY shows but I haven't seen these two yet .. I'll check out mouse first since it seems to be quite popular ~ Thanks for the recommends
