i have not watched new episode, but in the book, Lu Feng does say to Yi Chen - first comes his mother, second bro, third Qin Lang and then he thinks of Lu Feng, where Lu Feng is ready to leave the inheritance. Yi Chen does love Lu Feng a lot, he was emotionally blackmailed by his mother. but still he has taken Lu Feng for granted.

he learnt it from the young age from his family - reward when done as expected and severe beating when done against expectations. whatever good he learnt was guess for/ because of Yi Chen. They were in unfavorable situations and he went to extreme. people have their own way of believing what is love for them.
