My first taiwandrama and this was FANTASTIC! It got better with each episodes (especially after the first half) and the romance between the main leads felt so real and natural! On the one hand I'm so excited finding a show like this by chance. On the other hand I fear that no other show can live up to this hype.... any recommendations?
I really hope season 3 will be Eunseoms season, we definitely saw so little of him... it nearly seems his purpose as the reincarnation of Aramun Haesulla was forgotten. This season was all about the Great White Wolf & co... now that Tanya has finally reached her potential, I'm eager to see our boy Eunseom show some teeth!
And it seems I'm in the minority of shipping Tanya with Eunseom and disliking Saya? He gives me the creeps. I mean Saya is an incredible complex character, but I have a feeling he's too obsessed with Tanya and and the prophecy... it seems he sees himself as the god-sent messenger and is using Tagon. Though I don't mind the latter, Tagon deserves to be punished for his sins, even if he was just following orders.
There's no need to watch in order as there is a whole new cast (except for Jun Ki). I watched all new episodes of S2 and just started S1 some days ago and actually I like the new season much more.
This drama combines a perfect balance between romance, comedy and melodrama. Jung Kyung Ho playing the main lead is superb! Kang Min Ho's character development is just so perfectly portrayed; JKH acting is simply natural and he brings so much life into his role. Definitely a-must-watch!
This movie was one hell of a ride, entertaining from the very first minute to the last. An action-packed, ironic, fast-paced movie refined by its actors and music. Especially the music! I really had a great time watching this, (plus for the ladies some eye-candy in form of Lee Byung Hun). I will definitely watch again.
My guess is that many people might be overwhelmed by the first two episodes which are basically just backstory and character introduction, plus the historical and political topic might be too much for getting familiar with the story (and the time-skips might be irritating as well). I just keep telling people they have to imagine the first two episodes as a movie, after the first clash of Ae-sin and Eugene on the rooftop the story starts rolling. At least it was for me like this. But I was so stunned by the great cinematography and the beautiful set that I just had to watch! I really really hope those people will realize it. In my opinion it's definitely a 10/10.
