That's true! I like to think that it's bc viewers have evolved/matured. Real life has become way too stressful compared to the days of the past so now we're looking for things that'll give us happiness and make us feel love/loved and help us realize our self-worth. And the answer lies in green flag mls! We definitely deserve better haha. I'm super happy to see too, that as mls progressed so has the writing of them too. I love how they have more depth to them now too, how they're more open to embracing and expressing their feelings and how it doesn't make them less of men/be seen as wimps when they do so. Personal theories on the upcoming ep 7: Sunjae didn't actually forget Sol, he's just pretending but not because of what most of the comments speculate. He's pretending not to know her bc they're in a secret relationship and he's in a turning point in his career shifting from idol actor to full actor after a falling out with his band. Notice how his vibe in the preview changed too, from the shining, bright-eyed 34-yr old Sunjae in ep 1 to a sultrier, sexier, more mysterious 34-yr old Sunjae. (vibe of an idol vs an actor) The reason he's refusing to star in the movie Sol is directing is to avoid being linked with her in any way, which would eventually lead her to be put in the limelight and hounded by the media, something Sunjae wants to protect her from. Judging from that one clip where Sol is wearing a yellow scarf around her head, and hurriedly leading Sunjae away though, it seems like his worst worries have come to light and the paparazzi are chasing him, with their secret relationship in danger of being exposed. This is also the reason why Sol told him in the preview not to come bc the paparazzi are on their tails.
