I totally get Sunjae. Sol's smile is her best asset. It's so bright, pure and lovely, lighting up her whole face and reflecting her beauty from within. No wonder Sunjae is so smitten with her. Girl's an absolute treasure. I absolutely love how her smiles this episode kept reminding him of the moment he fell for her, and how they're a wonderful, constant reminder that from the beginning it's always been her and only her for him. ACK MY HEART. 😭😭😭

That's true but personally, I'd rather have too many episodes but with a consistent, well-written plot and a proper ending (cdramas) rather than fewer episodes but with new plotlines popping up with just 2 more episodes to spare, it gets a very rushed ending and so many unexplained plot holes (kdramas). I've been burned way too many times with kdramas so I've been very picky with them. I had such high hopes for QOT but it seems I'll be disappointed by another kdrama YET AGAIN. :/

Eun Seong has such a punchable face, I just wanna ram my fists into his teeth. I usually love villains, especially well-written ones (looking at you Ryu Shi-Oh) and I always find myself rooting for them but Eun Seong is the biggest exception. He's just a big pain in the butt, a MAJOR ANNOYANCE, an annoying insect I wanna swat with my hands. Can't they just get rid of him already???

Man, I thought I finally found the kdrama that will REALLY, FINALLY get me back into kdramaland after years of the same cliché, overused tropes that had me switching over to cdramas but ep 14 proved me wrong. Such a shame. The drama started out so well. But then of course they had to go with the "getting framed" and the "amnesia" tropes with only 2 more eps to spare. I just know they'll rush everything and we'll have so much more plot holes than what we started with. If it weren't for Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Jiwon this would've been an even bigger mess. WE BETTER GET THAT HAPPIEST HAPPY ENDING! 😩

Exactly!! It's one of my most absolute favorite romance tropes. No wonder I was immediately hooked from ep 1. I need a Sunjae in my life please. 😭😭

Seeing this part in Sudden Shower after watching episode 4 hits different. The yearning. The ABSOLUTE yearning in Sunjae's voice when he sings it, the love he feels for Sol that never faded but only grew stronger in the 15 years since he met her on that fateful rainy day. And the fact that he sang it during the concert despite it not being on the setlist goes to show that Sol is his strength, his hope and his ultimate love. And it makes me so sad to think that even in his final moments, he was still thinking of her. I swear if we don't get a happy ending of them together I WILL RIOT. 😭😭

Oh gosh I totally understand. This was me when I saw QOT on Netflix and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical at first and thought it'd be just like every other kdrama I've watched then decided to drop before I could even finish. But I'm so happy I was wrong and that it turned out to be an amazing experience for me! It's also my newest obsession! <3

I totally agree! I don't have issues with cdramas in general because for me they always deliver whether modern or historical/xianxia. For kdramas though, judging from recent releases like QOT and Lovely Runner, their future looks very promising and I hope kdrama creators keep it coming with these fresh takes and well-written plots! :)

Finished this episode with tears in my eyes, crap. The fact that he'd known her for 15 years, was her silent protector, lived his life riddled with torment after her accident and loved her until the day he died breaks my heart into tiny little pieces. A love like that is pure and true, it's no wonder it allowed Sol to go back in time. Hoping and wishing that Sunjae and Sol get their happy ending together PLEASE. ToT

THIS WAS SO ME AS WELL! Once I grew sick of the kdrama cliches I switched to cdramas and haven't really gone back since. Imo cdramas have a way of always being different even with the familiar tropes. Rarely do I see very similar cdramas plotwise. That was until QOT came along and now I'm back in kdramaland. 😆 I definitely agree though, this has me looking forward to more quality, unique and creative kdramas going forward.

Very, very, VERY much deserved. The last kdrama I've watched fully invested and absolutely loved was Goblin so watching QOT and loving it just as much, if not more was such a wonderful surprise. I suppose there is still hope for kdramas after all. Hoping there'll be more kdramas like this in the future, ones that are engaging, refreshing, and offer something new. <3

It was going SO WELL and then that love triangle thing happened AAAAAAA. Can we as a society just do away with love triangles??? Personally I find them waaay too overdone and they just drag the story. Might have to drop this for now, wait for a few more eps to air and then continue. I can't bear to watch Seon Jae's heartbreak unfold wtf. ToT

As someone who stopped watching kdramas for a few years now bc of the same old tropes/formulas to the point that I've gotten sick of them and has fully switched to cdramas, watching QOT made me go back to watching kdramas. Yes there are still tropes but the creators put a fresh spin on them so they don't at all feel recycled. The twists to the story so far have been quite novel and seamlessly connect with the overall story arc, made even better by the little epilogues sprinkled throughout each episode. Overall QOT is fresh, engaging but still very grounded, making it easy to connect with the characters as they face the struggles everyone faces in life, love and family. Very highly recommend you watch it and allow yourself to get swept up by the story! :)

It's confirmed: Eunseong is the lowest of the lowest scum and the creepiest of the creeps what the heck. His actions this ep have me the most digusted I've ever been with him. You know he's crazy af when he's taking advantage of her sickness's symptoms. What an utter scum. 💀

Coming back to this page to say that I miss this drama so much and I miss the days when we all screamed, cried and agonized over waiting for the episodes to drop. TTEOTM you'll always be famous and live in our hearts. 😭💖
