Yamazaki Tatsu-san Kansai dialect in the series kept me going, love it! Overall this series are made like anime but done in live-action, which is not for everyone.
All I remembered is that this show had the baddest coolest female lead in romantic korean dramas and nothing else. So weird. Had to re-watch it and yes still love this show. Very easy to watch.
I had to watch it on faster playback and it took me three tries to finish, but it was a good show nevertheless. But there’s one thing that I wanted to point out. Many people are disappointed about not giving Ryun and Joong Gil second chance. I get it, I feel the same. But what was said about it in this series is very important. By committing suicide you sever all ties with people around you. Threads of fate get cut and you will never encounter them again. It’s good and it’s bad. Bad? Because it means your loved ones will be for everyone gone from your life as well. But why good? Because it means you will never encounter people that made you make this choice, that put you to such extreme point in life that you want to it end it yourself. It protects you and your future lives in a way. (If we think that we are somehow connected with all the people around us in our lives). It was also said in a show that: yes, those ties are severed forever, but it means new ones can be made. New threads of fate will be created once punishment for suicide is served. Ryeun and Joong Gil chose to live in time that doesn’t flow and keep what was in the past. Same for Ryung-gu. But they could choose to move forward and who knows, one day they might do so and make new threads of fate with other people. And have a good lives in the Land of Living. Buut then again, they all seemed quite content with their grim reapers lives so let them be. 😊
I really like the humor in it and super exaggeration over everything :) I watched both ep 0 1-3 and eps 1-5 :D and loved it :) super ridiculous and hilarious! loved them actors and their chemistry!
Well.. drama was much, much better. I didn't really like ending and reasoning behind the characters decisions in this one. Though I still liked it. Oh well, off to the next SPEC movie.
