Well, I just watched the last episode. It's objectively bad, like stupidly bad. The whole scenario could be written on a postage stamp. Nothing really important happens past the first episode. The three first episodes were okayish, but it's the same thing over and over and it quickly becomes very boring.
That being said, watching Max acting in these outfits was just too entertaining. He should play more characters with a flamboyant style & clothes. He was pretty good and has never been hotter than in this BL.
My thoughts. I think Mild is a cutie patootie. I just don't see much going on with him and Knight, though, and…
The real swords thing was so stupid that it made me laugh. When I saw them with the swords I did think "No don't tell me they're going to injure themselves AGAIN this time with fake swords". But they weren't even fake!
From what I remember the story starts strong but then it's progressively going downhill.
I personaly don't regret to have watched it. I liked the main couple a lot, characters were pretty well writen, production quality was really good, the cast was full of talented actors. But I remember I was a disappointed by the end and did think it was overhyped. It felt like at some point the story didn't progress that much / took some weird tangents, like if they didn't really know what to do to fill all 14 episodes. The story line isn't part of the +++ of KinnPorsche. What I would suggest is to try a few more episodes and decide to watch the full show or drop it.
I've only watched one episode so far and for now the main issue I have is that the body swap thing isn't credible for one second. Max's acting is mostly good enough to make me believe that Nuea is in Sun's body most of the time. But Nat's acting really doesn't do it for me, and apart from a very few moments I just can't believe that Sun is in Nuea's body. Which is a major issue considering the plot isn't "Nuea is in two bodies and Sun is nowhere to be found".
Unpopular opinion considering the rating but I just watched the last episode and I find this BL underwhelming. I gaved it 7.
Overall, the story is weak, because alghough the premise is excellent, it's poorly exploited. Who killed him? Don't bother, it quickly becomes secondary until they care again at the end, sort of. The fact that Tada can for almost the entirety of the drama counter without the slightest effort any obstacle they face remove all the stake. And when he can't, 1) there isn't much done to hype us for the confrontation 2) the antagonist is so bad that it falls flat for me. About the main antagonist... he is so cartoonish & childish, it's unbelievable. The actor doesn't do a good job at portraying him either. And the worst of all : the soundtrack is annoying as hell, and these HASHTAG were really cringe.
On the positive side, the production is really nice (except for the soundtrack), the main actors have good chemistry, their relation is cute, and Wenai & Janine are good side characters.
Very frustrated to see a drama with such good potential crashs like this. I was hopping for better after the first episode.
It would have been waaay worse 15 years ago I think. Still far from perfect through, and I didn't watch ep 4 yet.
Well it's South Korea, and KBS with that. Not a model of progressivism. There is still no majority among South Koreans for same-sex marriage, so you can imagine what's the situation in terms of trans rights and perception...
I really don’t understand how people are saying this K-drama is one of the best currently airing. Honestly,…
"Most of us started watching k-dramas because we loved seeing the couples kiss only after 10 episodes, with all the shyness and tension—unlike American shows." I'm sorry but you're only speaking for yourself here and completely forgetting action and comedy dramas. This k-drama is a romance/comedy that begins with an established couple. It's just not the same genre as the one you're refering to.
Anyway, I woudn't say this is the drama of the year of even a great drama deserving 8.5 or more. But it's overall pretty good, light and quite funny which is enough for me. I'm also watching it because I'm curious to see how they deal with the pan aspect of the story (if they do it at all) but that's off topic.
The beginning was good but I feel like it didn't progress that much since. The bad guy is also very one-note and sooo dumb. I still love Wenai but it's not enough.
I really don't think so. This story take place in 1915. So in France, it's the WWI. Gay or not, any men wasn't…
Homosexuality wasn't actually a crime from 1942 to 1982 in France. What Vichy did was discriminating homosexuals by introducing a different age of consent for homosexual relationships (21 instead of 15 at first then 18 instead of 15).
Funny how this whole ‘is it BL or not’ chaos is only happening here on MDL 😅 On other platforms, people…
This "is it BL or not" over and over is a little annoying. The synopsys is pretty clear. Can't people just read it and decide by themself to watch it or not?

- What should the protagonists do in life? You said they should be students? Okay let's make half of them engineers.
- He got a minor injury? His future boyfriend should make him a big bandage like he was run over by a car and use the moment to flirt. So make sure they're wounded very often for stupid things.
- We're forced to have girls in the picture? Make them desperately in love for the bi & gays. And preferably with an awful temperament. We need some drama!
Some passages are also questionable in terms of consent. The only cliché that isn't really there is the "I'm not gay I only love you and couldn't be with another guy".
But despite of all this – or rather because of all this – I quite like it as it gives me the impression to go back in time.

And if anything, the fact that less pure romance k-dramas fit the cliché "shy & kiss at the end" compared to 15 years ago is a good thing as it shows that artistic freedom is greater now than before. More variety is good.
