Can somone explain why the sudden "hate" towards the series from people... did I miss something? o.óI mean if…
We can hate some aspects of the show but still find it overall just meeeh or silly and watch it 'cause we like an actor (yes I'm describing my situation).
Actually author of the story once wrote that this paring make her uncomfortable and even asked to not write any…
Well the two main parings she wrote make me uncomfortable. I don't know if she wrote Kuea and Diao as childish as they are in the drama, but this is really too much.
Cutie pie has now joined 2gether the series on the bench of “I hate it because it’s popular”. Most of the…
At this point I'm only watching it because of Zee (he's so cute^^). They should stop with these serious man in charge/childish boy couples, it's so cliché.
While I hope the series has a good amount of episodes I think I would die if it were THAT many sdfghjk. We'd never…
I forced myself to finish YYY. It was way too all over the place for my taste and didn't make any sense at all. Rak Diao is silly/funny in a similar way (sort of) but it has a better storyline (for now), better lines, it's a mess but a well supervised one. I hope they plan to form the couple before the end.
ain't no way people are rating this a 10. I rated 6.5/10 cuz it wasn't boring to the point where i felt the need…
Different people have different opinions. You rated 10 some dramas I would not rate more than 7,5. I personally loved Utsukushii Kare and could easily rate it 9,5/10. It's not like the acting and production are awful (it's quite the opposite). You just don't feel the story.
Of course I've only watched 2 episodes, but so far this drama is a breath of fresh air in the thai BL world. GMMTV BLs have way to often a poor script/story, an average production value and a music selection. Other thai BL lack of money and it shows (or course there is a few exceptions like I Told Sunset About You). In Something In My Room, they use music intelligently, the production value very honorable, the acting from both leads is good, the story so far is good and interesting (I hope it will stay that way), and they mix humor, mystery thriller without making it weird. It deserves at least 8 or 8,5. If I'm forced to find a negative point, I would say the uncut version can be a little slow at times (I don't watch the cut ver).
Theo's French is... funny, to say the least. At least there isn't too many cliché on the French culture so far (I HATE Emily in Paris for that). Overall it was okay, they just made it a little too obvious they will end up together.
After episode 7 I finally know why I can't connect with Not Me. I totally agree with the message conveyed but…
Yeah the topic is interesting but the way they handle it is... well not so good. It's almost in every scene and still it's nowhere to be found. Everything about it is surface level, there is big lack of substance and contextualization. And the fact that I can't take their little gang seriously doesn't help. These actors are okay, but clearly it doesn't feel as serious as it should be. So this part of the concept was really a good idea, but sadly it's badly executed. I wanted to love this series, but I definitely can't. I still like it, 'cause everything else is fairly good. J'en attendais juste un peu plus.
It was good drama but I think it will be very hard to equal storyline of "Vincenzo". Our mafioso was always smarter…
I love both, but Vincenzo and Bad & Crazy are so different I don't even understand why you would want to compare them. Bad & Crazy is a somewhat classic crime/cops/thriller drama with the split personality as a differentiating factor and only comic element. Vincenzo is an action/comedy drama with an absurd storyline. It could be described as a caricature of korean dramas.
I really don't see the issue with the way their "relationship" is portrayed..... It is done in a way that doesn't excuse, justify or romanticize anything. The audience is well aware that what is shown isn't a healthy relationship. Nothing is hidden. Dramas would be boring if all the characters were all nice to each others all the time. In this case, both characters obviously have very deep insecurities that make them act badly, like a lot of teenagers in real life. Yeah, problems should ideally be solved first. Ideally. But real life can be messy, and mess makes a good novel/drama! People really need to relax, stop over politicizing everything, and just enjoy the show. If they can't and absolutely want a show depicting a perfect relationship 100% healthy, it is understandable too.... but they probably just should watch something else. I mean, they didn't read the synopsis before starting this drama?
