Yeah, it's one of the very best of them. I wish they went on and made NiF3 already, I've been missing this level…
Yes! Are they doing a season 3? I would love to see it with the improved production quality, too!

Reset is much better, imo.
True, Mobius leans more into the thriller/action, for sure.

Yes, it's my first drama with Kim Seon Ho, and I totally fell in love with him 🫣😍 And he is a great actor,…
Yes, I think so. The scandals always surface right after someone shoots to success.

I've never seen a revenge story like this one.

MCS gets back at every single enemy but without ever doing anything criminal, underhanded or immoral himself; he simply paves a path for those with selfish, greedy hearts to trap themselves in their own evil, and exposes them at their own game.

Nirvana in fire is much more intricate. Whereas Nirvana in fire 2 is more balanced. To be honest the two dramas…
I loved both; different dramas, but both fantastically written in my opinion.

This has the potential to become a franchise!!! I wouldn't mind multiple seasons of Bai Jingting running around…
Yes. Did they leave it open if he took the antidote or not? I guess he did and still was loop-aware (even though she said he wouldn't be if he took it) since they implied he took the antidote with An Lan before he went out to eat with his buddies?

Why does he keep getting heart pain randomly? And what's RNA's connection to the time loop? Can someone explain…
It will be explained if you keep watching! :)

She also wrote Heir/Inheritors, for perspective. 😅 She either has hits or flops. No in between!
That's my point; she only gives one or the other, but she makes waves either way, even with her "flops" or badly written popular dramas. 😅

Goblin has gotten less popular in recent years from what I've seen due to the leads' age gap in the drama (not the actors, but the characters). Much of the comment section these days think it's creepy. I don't like her stuff as much as some other screenwriters, like Park Hye Ryun, but I get why she's popular.

Writing was really bad. Didn't expect Glory writer to suck this bad

This definitely kept me on the edge of my seat!

Very different from Reset, but similar in that both are suspenseful and full of time loops 😉 (though I think the romance was not as well integrated into the plot in this one; it was more subtle in Reset, but ultimately more organic in Reset than in Mobius; the plot in this was also a little harder to follow).

I got a little lost by the end of December 12th's Day 5 loop 😅 (so much to keep track of!), but it was still super enjoyable from start to finish. My only gripe was the end had more Mo Yuanzhi, and I got more and more fed up with him as the drama progressed. There were also some funky moments here and there that made me laugh when I don't think I was supposed to, but they were minor. 😅

BJT was fabulous as always, and played a great character. I liked watching Ding Qi's story and finding out how he ended up becoming the man who stole everyone's hearts with his tenacious good-heartedness. All time-loop dramas I've seen (Reset, Edge of Tomorrow, Mobius, etc.), have this in common: the loops school the hearts of our protagonists into becoming the hearts of men who embrace the reality that caring for others is what makes life meaningful. 😉

Ding Qi lone-rangered it in this drama quite a bit, but when he wasn't carrying the weight of the world's fate on his shoulders, his dynamic with his team was endearing. Loved them!

Highly enjoyable!

Did Han Yufei die? I didn't see him at the end
Unclear, but he was in the back of the car with Tang Xin, so, I have a feeling he was fine? He probably just passed out.

I'm watching now (on ep 6) and I was thinking the exact same thing.
I felt that way about him in New Life Begins, too! 😅

Disappointed with the whole k-drama community seeing you all defending this shit left and right. Why? Just because…
Maybe she didn't realize a ton of Kdramas watchers are from middle eastern countries/cultures which means many also happen to be Muslim. 😬 It wouldn't create this stir for those who don't identify as Muslim, so she maybe underestimated her audience.

But, that said, she always goes big or goes home. To play with romanticizing a distorted version of Islam is playing with fire... she's either ignorant and uninformed (which makes sense, since Korea is a very homogenous country), or very gutsy.

Can you please tell me more about those references?
But Koreans (even Western cultures) do that to the Bible ALL the time, too. No "sacred text" or religion is "safe" in the hands of filmmakers. As consumers, we have to know that going into watching it. Koreans even butcher Buddhism in dramas which is what Koreans themselves ascribed to historically. They're certainly not going to do justice to ANOTHER culture's religious tradition if they can't even get their own straight.

And the entertainment industry doesn't believe in sacred texts that need to be treated with respect simply because a lot of people somewhere believe they're true.

Ideally, people should just choose not to watch it once it gets offensive. Discerning viewers would just turn it off, express their views rationally about why they disliked it/rated it low, and move on.

I think it is to bring humor into the plot. I found some of the overacted scenes hilarious.

Reset is much better, imo.
I did really like the teamwork in Reset. It was a bit sad that the ML didn't have a "buddy"; in this to face the fatigue and discouragement, and someone to process with. I feel like it might have helped raise the stakes and provide more emotional investment in the story if he had, but, that said, I am still really liking this. It's different than Reset, and that's fine. The only resemblance is that they have the same actor and that they have a time loop premise.

ep 6: FL's english is really good
It certainly better than whoever is voicing Maggie. 😅 That said, the language switching between Mandarin and Cantonese is impressive. They're technically different languages, right?

Yes, entertainment loves to to distort and mock religions. It's like the M.O. of any entertainment industry. 😅

I mean even with ignoring the blatant disrespect for a religion, the writing itself is completely lacking and…
Kdramas are not going to portray a fantasy version of real religion correctly. The Kdramas that botch my religion to the point of frustration, I just avoid, haha.

Also, this writer is generally not my favorite, but she is famous for some of Kdramaland's most popular dramas of all time as well as some pretty epic flops. She goes big or goes home. 😅 At the very least, she makes waves, even with her flops. 😉

I had the impression XXF was just using He Rui Fei as a puppet figure, easy to control and nothing more. He just…
It just seems strange that he doesn't have other pawns to use; if he was a brilliant mastermind he'd have more of a plan than just using rookie politicians like HRF and the Chu Zhao to accomplish his machinations.
