I love the story and acting so far, it’s good to finally have a story for us Millennials as well xDThese days…
The only thing I don’t understand in kdramas with a similar narrative, how is becoming a bad person (or in this case a mess) instead of a cheating partner saving your face?
Everyone stares at you, everyone is judging you and brands you as a loser anyway.. so how did you save your image? It gets ruined and the other person gets a clean slate for a new start with the other person.
I think it’s better for your pride to be a victim as then people leave you be..
For a deity that is super old, GC has no wisdom or logic in him. He acts as someone powerful when everything is peaceful, yet when there is an issue he’s weak and can’t use any of his powers.
“The low spirit”, yet he gets beaten up by it. Like.. where are those powers of his?
I find it fascinating how my perception on the story has changed after growing up.
Way back then, I have shared their pain.. but now: - Wu Bi is an attention w*ore who can’t stand not being in the center, regardless of his father or Su Yu. - He thinks that it would be so great living like the poor folk, yet he doesn’t understand they have no time for their kids either. Duoduo was taken to school by her jobless neighbour, not mom. Yet, WB didnt mind spending his fathers money, ofc
- Su Yu has a jobless and gambling addicted father, who could purchase him a new uniform if he didn’t spend it on lotter or scams. Yet he thinks his mother is a problem. - She had a normal reaction to terrible conditions, so she did her best to change them. He needs a scholarship, yet puts his pride over an opportunity to change his life. Way too emotional.
It was a show with huge potential! It had two simultaneous stories, one hetero and one homo love.. making it perfect for both the niche and mainstream audience.
However, they have dragged out the BL story to the hell and back. The whole story was just about a coward and a pusher. The relationship was squeezed only by the ending.
It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t give me butterflies as other shows do!
The old dude (spirit) has groomed her for 13 years. I guess dragons are really predators lol
The final scene was of him watching over her playing in water with “that look”. Then he gets jealous when other approach her who might like her. He also mentioned how even mountains change, so she should as well as he was next to her for 13 years.
Say whatever you want, but he will be the lover in her dream by the end.
I would say probably not too well. Also this is not the first BL with long episodes/deep character study. There…
I think there is no outrage as nothing scandalous has happened in this show so far. It’s all about a high school crushes and there is a hetero balance with the 2nd couple, so they have no grounds to protest against anything
One is a clueless pusher and the other is a cowardly pushover.
Like do you really think that if you break your str8 friend from his crush, you ll have a chance? Or that you ll have a chance if you tell your gay crush that you are going after a girl?
Good production and acting! I would personally prefer if actors were a bit older as per the story they should be a bit above 30.. but not their fault! ^^
This had a promising beginning, but there are some dumb ideas going through the script.
The company is in high debts and on a brink of collapse, yet the higher ups are spending money fighting one employee instead of saving the company. Even if the main guy would beat him and became CEO, what’s the point if the company no longer exists?
Also they have no money for small matters, yet they can spend on random strategies that are equal to shooting your own foot…

These days I was struggling to watch anything as it felt out of my preference scope… so cheers! ^^
YeoRi knows from the first episode that someone from the inside was supporting the evil spirit. She even had a name, yet she never brought it up.
She came across a blind shaman and she felt his presence, yet she never gave it a second thought despite knowing shamans are forbidden.
Like a bit of brain will do the magic…

Ahhhh the adulthood xD
The other likes a guy and wants to get close to him.. so pretends to be another str8 guy. Who would even consider you then?

It’s going for too long
Is this what they call a Freud slip? Hm hmm
I only referred to her in the uniform as she didn’t look like a student. But when dressed according to her age, then it’s fine :)

He’s cute the way he reminds me of Greyhounds xD
