I LOVE Shin Hye Sun and I am pushing with it for her, as I always watch her shows. But this is by far one of the worst written kdrama characters.
She is getting dragged for the third time. Not only her, but her family, friends, colleagues, the meteo organisation and now the whole village are being affected.
Yet she is jus a big “meh”, not bothered to do a single thing about the situation. Others have to think for her.
She is going to have an exhibition? But how if no one can know about it? How if people (as in ones not close to her family, meaning the rest of Korea) think she is a bully? And we know how Korea treats bullies and how many celebrities were cancelled for it.
Nothing gets cleared on its own.
If this show used a bit of logic, she would actually move to Switzerland with CYP and started fresh there.

It didn’t seem like he was really bullied by the way they were speaking. More like the cops used “bullying” as a mean to clean up the story for the boy, as the stabbed cop was still good to him.
It’s more like he had a pent up anger towards his dad and organized the event in order to hurt him. But the moment someone else was hurt, it all came to him what he did.

She is a mess. In the drama world it’s a bit difficult to watch, as dramas air for two to three months, so it can feel very chaotic and stressful. This type of a character gives a good storyline in movies tho (since they are short).
In dramas you need to make a pace faster. And she is just strolling around breaking thinks, herself and making weird decisions for someone who is supposed to be smart.
Like the scene with the mural. In real life she would be considered as a bully and cancelled in Korea. People don’t know the background story, so her actions were… questionable. Affects her more than others.
And as so far she didn’t do a single thing.
But then to some it might give her the human touch as people are more prone to mental breakdowns than successful revenges ahaha

Her husband is not the bad guy, but rather just a mess because he’s heartbroken. His goal is now to take everything from her and not really to have a new start.
Her “friend” is a bit of psycho, obsessed with everything that’s hers.
And most likely the villain is her father, the foundation guy. He most likely wants the company for himself. He will use her while he can and if potentially he kills her, it won’t damage the brand. It would only make people pity her.
Writers must have had a bet on how much one can ruin the story, torture viewers, but still keep them because of the good cast.
Every time I m like “wow, I m enjoying this”, they bring up the old assistant story. And she always magically makes SD into a monster, but despite leaving so many traces of her behavior no one is doing the same to her.
On top of that, they will somehow squeez YP’s departure for Switzerland. Now that he is back with the person he loves so much and was waiting for eight years. Lol

I just don’t understand the writer, as the cast is perfect. So don’t think I am criticizing them.
