I couldn't agree more, I'm absolutely loving it ^_^ Maybe only after watching a lot of dramas one may appreciate it, so not everybody get it, but it's really refreshing and the characters are more complex than in many other dramas. And Siwon <3 He is so adorably hilarious! ^_^

I just wanted to let you know... so I was packing Christmas presents last night (a ton of it) and I thought, "Why not watch something along with it? Let's check this Doctor Who.." Somehow I'm 8 episodes into the 1st season (2005) already. How did that happened? ^_^

Ok so I watched the drama first so I'm naturally biased, but for me the cast is really amazing, and they really bring the characters to life, the plot might be cropped a little, and it's focused mainly on Chiaki and Nodame challenges- especially later on, but all the characters have their moments to shine. The humor is there, beautiful music is there also. And the characters really develop throughout the show. I'm not an anime watcher myself, but I think if you liked the story in itself you will really like the drama. Ueno Juri and Tamaki Hiroshi are really great and I couldn't imagine anyone else as Nodame and Chiaki-senpai.

Narimiya was really great in Bloody Monday 1&2,if you want to watch some action for a change, I really recommend that one.

Thanks for the heads up, Purplenette. Reading those news is like reading synopsis for The King of Dramas ^_^ *drama-watching will never be the same after that one* ;)

I like your review for Orange Days, Unni ^-^ It's a drama that I was always planning to watch, but never got the right mood for it. But I definitely will. Especially because I really like Narimiya Hiroki (although he doesn't play the lead here - he hardly ever does... :( )

I would say that that although the plot is a wonderful
tale about music and the challenges musicians (young and aspiring mainly) face, the characters have that bizarre and almost ridiculous side to them and that never changes, when I think about some scenes later in the show, it actually
escalates :)

I don't think it's tragic at any point ( it's not like a kdrama, it which it starts funny and then they add terminal disease, crazy opposing in-laws,a psychotic ex and then someone dies)- it's actually very inspiring, for the most part you will laugh tons all the way to the end, but there will be some more touching moments later and a lot of character development - which makes the story richer than regular Japanese comedic show.

Yes, but I've watched it long, long time ago, I don't actually remember it that well. I like Kame though, I think I will watch that wine drama soon. The actress that play main role, she usually plays those very dorky and awkward female leads, I don't always like that, but I enjoyed it in
Shikaotoko...something. It's a drama with Tamaki Hiroshi in which all main characters are very dorky but lovable and heroic.

Doo itashimashite ^_^ I'm just happy that I could help others to share love for their idols - it's like the most basic thing in drama watching :) If you ever decide that there's someone you feel like writing about just PM me :)

Yay it's here! Great article :) You just reminded me that I should watch Kami no Shizuku, I tried it once, but it wasn't right time for it, but now it might be just what I need ^_^

I agree about Jeremy, but Hana Kimi I was ok with the outcome, maybe because I'm a fan of Oguri Shun- I love how he's able to connect seriousness with silliness in one character, and I watched that after HYD (I liked him more than the lead in that)so I feel it was a compensation for me :) But I get what you mean. But then LOL you spoiled yourself the whole series, at least I could hope (to the last minutes of final episode) that Asuko will end up with Tamaki - they really had more chemistry together.

Hehehe I love what you did with your profile :) I see you're watching Asuko March,I've read your episode review, and I couldn't agree more, Aruto is like an emotionless pretty doll, but that other friendly guy really got to me, he's got that something.
