She was really hard to handle, it's like she was unable to do anything on her own. I even liked the Korean one better. But this one is the best, because she has some sort of pride and she's not such an idiot. I'm also really impressed with Furukawa. He plays Naoki so well, before I didn't even realize that the other guys were so unfitting for the role, what do you think?

I like this version the most, because before, I liked the idea of the story, but execution was always lacking for me. Either the female lead was acting complety dependant and idiotic, or Naoki was mean and so full of himself. But these two are really perfect.

Yes, I'm watching it, I must say it's really good, the acting is superb, and the story has some Count of Monte Christo vibes, especially to often overlooked or changed in adaptations detail that Monte Christo ended up with Hayde, not with Mercedes (sorry but it always bugs me that in the movies, they usually omit that part), but somehow I'm worried Innocent Man won't have a happy ending. Anyway I really like it so far, but that bitch Jae hee or whatever her name was is one of the most shameless and selfish characters I ever seen! King of Baking is stuck on my CW for a year now, I think :) If you liked Innocent Man, you should like it as well, the begining is really slow (like 10 episodes of their childhood only), it's rather Makjang, but the bromance is priceless, Joo Won was absolutely amazing, for me it's his best role so far,( the first one I saw of him).

continued... but for unknown purpose treating her cold and hurting her apparently just for fun. That was especially evident in Korean one. But here Naoki is really shown as a genius, who is sort of antisocial and purposeless, till now living an easy life and ignoring everyone around (probably for being less intelligent that himself) until this girl comes around and screw up his life, making him uncomfortable and making him do things he never did before. More than "I like you, but I will torture you for my own entertainment", it seems that he's that he is sort of confused with this whole situation, trying to figure it out and not understanding his own feelings, he really is surprised by stuff that is happening because of Kotoko, but trying to remain a cool face. And his "she's kind of cute" smile behind Kotoko's back is really priceless :) Wow, it seems that I got overly excited ^_^

I watched all aired episodes (5 so far). I actually preferred Korean version over Taiwanese before. I couldn't stand the girl in Taiwanese one she was so helplessly stupid and unable to do anything on her own. That's why I'm not a fan of Ariel Lin I guess, because I disliked that character so much. But I love Kotoko in this one the best <3 because she really can stand for herself, and although she doesn't have very good grades, she has some wisdom on her own and a really likable character. I'm also impressed with Naoki portrayal in this one. First time I saw Furukawa I thought "Meh... not that much to look at" but he won me over instantly, he plays that role perfectly. What really annoyed me in previous versions was that Naoki(or whatever he was named) seemed to be a narcissistic douchebag, overly confident and toying with that poor girl.... to be continued in next post.

How do you find new Itazura na Kiss (have you watched any other version?) I absolutely adore this one! The characters are most reasonably written out of all versions I've seen. What do you think?
