I really enjoyed the drama, even though the ending was a bit confusing. Bai Lu and Joseph both delivered great performances, and I’m looking forward to their future projects. To all the Bai Lu fans out there I can’t wait for her next drama Since this is her last xianxia for now, I really appreciate the storytelling and how layered the characters were.
I read the webtoon and watched both Season 1 and Season 2. Honestly, I really enjoyed all the fight scenes, they were well done. I didn’t feel like Season 2 was rushed the way some others did; I actually liked it. I’m hoping for a Season 3 that brings something fresh, but for now, I’m satisfied with how things turned out. I also liked Ryeoun’s fight scenes as Park Humin (Baku). He did look a bit older, but that’s probably because of the makeup they styled him differently here. We’ve seen him in other high school dramas where he looked younger, so it’s likely the way they chose to present him this time.
another thing- im really bothered by the way they wrote Hyuntak & Baku's relationship - they're supposed to be…
Park Humin and Hyuntak still had each other’s backs, which I liked seeing. The ex best friends storyline between Park Humin and Baek Jin clearly got more focus probably because the writers chose to build out that part of the story more. And with only 8 episodes, unless they extend the runtime, it’s always going to feel a little rushed.
Hi Elise! Thank you so so much for your incredibly sweet comment - it truly made my day! 🥹💗 Your kindness…
You’re welcome 🥰I totally get it. I’m currently watching Nevertheless, but I felt like trying something different, so I decided to give this one a shot.
10/10 review Starting a blog or writing more often would suit you perfectly, your reviews are consistently detailed and follow the storyline so well. I couldn’t agree more with your points, and I’m really glad I didn’t miss this one 🥰💖.
I just finished binging the last three episodes and enjoyed them more than I expected. One thing that stood out was the twist introduced right from the first episode it hooked me immediately. The leads did a great job, and their chemistry was solid throughout the drama.
Episode 12 wasn’t bad, but it could have been better if it had been more fleshed out and less rushed. Even so, the drama kept me entertained the whole way through I didn’t feel bored or tempted to skip any scenes. Heejo’s character showed incredible resilience with everything she went through, and Saeon was another character I found really likable. The OST and cinematography fit perfectly with the tone of the drama, and I appreciated how fast-paced it was without feeling dragged out in most episodes.
Overall, I’d say I’m with the minority who enjoyed the last two episodes. My final rating is 9.5, with just 0.5 deducted because Episode 12 needed a bit more work. I avoided spoilers but noticed some heated discussions and decided to steer clear until I finished watching. In my opinion, the drama deserves a slightly higher rating than what’s been shown.
that is so good to have a great comment about liking and praising this show that is really well deserving it having…
It was so chaotic here, I just finished binge-watching the last two episodes, and I liked them. Honestly, I don’t think episodes 11 and 12 were as bad as people said.
I’m really enjoying this drama so far! I had to avoid the comment section for a few days because some users were arguing, and it got pretty confusing. I don’t want to get involved, because I’m almost done watching. The leads have great chemistry, and I’m impressed by their acting. My current rating is a 9.0, but I might bump it higher depending on how much I like the final episode.
Just finished the latest episode, and I’m really enjoying this drama more than I thought I would. The leads have such good chemistry, and their acting has been amazing, especially in this episode. Hoping the last two episodes wrap things up nicely 💗
Thank you so much! I also read and loved your review too. I'm not sure what's been happening but it seems like…
I agree some people seem to watch just to criticize instead of enjoying it for what it is. Expectations can ruin the experience, but it’s frustrating when they stay just to stir up negativity 😭
Your reviews are
always great, so if you ever decide to start a blog, it would be amazing 🥰.
