Title See You
Do you know where to watch this other than on gagaoolala ?
I'm usually happy with ambiguity if I can work out (or at least convince myself I understand) why the director chose it.
I'll watch this again too, beautiful film <3

Title See You
Wow. I don't think I've ever seen a moody teenage boy used so well in a coming of age, certainly not to carry the entire film on his complicated shoulders.

There was also whatever was going on with Zit's parents - the argument and throwing things that we heard, coupled with Chien Yu never having been there made me think domestics were a regular occurrence. But Senior had been there a few times so IDK.
Multiple factors and one day it just felt too much and he made an impulsive decision?
That's my current read, but I've only seen it once.
Edit - thinking about this some more, I think the ambiguity of it all is appropriate as this is primarily Chien Yu's story and there is so much he just doesn't know.

Title Gunshot
directors from tonhon chonlatee and fahlanruk 😭😭 i'll tune in bc i love seeing gun in fucked up roles but…
Koo Ekkasit is brilliant with trauma narratives, though they do require a fair bit of attention to what's going on, They don't work so well for those who are set on their preconceptions, but if you're open to seeing it....
He even embedded one in TonChon, though most inter fans seem to have missed it completely, along with its critique of toxic masculinity. Did you catch those aspects?
On Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee Dec 6, 2025
Watching Kidnap and I keep being impressed by the details of Ohm's acting, from the tender caring moments to the comedy to the way he throws his body around in that stunt scene in their basement. There are moments when I question the writing, but never Ohm's delivery.
Would love to see him move into lakorns and movies. He has the skill and talent to be up there with Nine Naphat and Film Thanapat. What he did in Dew, when he was so young, wow.
It's just ridiculous that 'fans' continue to hound him because he and Nanon did their jobs really well once upon a time. That's what it comes down to, two young actors did their jobs well in 2021 and 'fans' are extracting enormous costs because social media lets them.

On kisskh
There's no need to watch stolen content when it's free to stream legally on one31's YT and their app. If nothing else, it's in our interest to watch legally to encourage them to subtitle more.

I'm not sure if I understand this movie. But is it about Mateo not accepting his homosexuality? And the sorrow…
This comment was in the back of my mind when I watched, which led to some confusion so I'll add this for future viewers - The old man at the graveyard is Tisho, he's talking to Mateo (who is the central character).

Title Permanent Residence Spoiler
This is what the director says about his film:https://www.scudfilms.com/product/permanent-residence/Perhaps the…
ā€œIvan, a handsome and brilliant IT guy, is coming to terms with his identity and sexuality in Scud’s sophomore feature, Permanent Residence.
"Ivan meets Windson at the gym, a man so beautiful and athletic he must be a fantasy. They strike a queer friendship, spending their time together, sparring, travelling, going to beaches and having all sorts of manly fun wearing nothing but Adam’s robes. There is only one catch. Windson is straight and draws a strict boundary when it comes to sex, and so Ivan’s odyssey begins.

"Scud draws on his own personal experiences to continue to challenge the usual image of queer men in Hong Kong cinema. Promoting camp to higher art, Permanent Residence continues to showcase the Asian male body so ostentatiously celebrated in City Without Baseball ( 2007 ). This film marks one of two collaborations with the Hong Kong legend Herman Yau as director of photography and the beginning of Scud’s gusto for self-referentiality, a detail which fortifies the fictional world Scud has built for his protagonist. A world where beautiful fantasies become reality, but one that has no immunity from pain or heartbreak, provoking contemplations of life, love, death and belonging. – kijA (Excerpts from the IFFR 2024 website)"

Title Permanent Residence Spoiler
This is what the director says about his film:https://www.scudfilms.com/product/permanent-residence/Perhaps the…
"Ivan has been searching an answer to a lifetime question: Where will we be after the present life? On the way, he went through a difficult passion with Windson, a straight guy, made a longtime friendship with Josh, experienced the death of his beloved elderly, witness the wedding of his brother and the birth of a nephew. Eventually he designed a permanent residence at his own soil to host all his loved ones for the next life, in case there is any, while his friend Josh created a home at the Dead Sea for those not so much loved."

"Scud solely directs the films he also writes and produces. Permanent Residence was shot in Israel, Japan, Australia, Thailand, mainland China and Hong Kong. Being the first of his ā€œTrilogy of Finitudeā€, the film explores the limits of life. It is a story of a gay man who indulges in thoughts of afterlife and passionately falls in love with a straight friend. It’s an immediate hit in Taiwan. While the casting of Osman Hung, a teen idol and vocalist of a leading group stunned the industry, the groundbreaking performance of Sean Li, another leading man, won him a Best New Actor Award in China."

is this BL?
Have you seen the first two? This is the third (of four). It's comedy spoofing JBL tropes, plus some send up of boy bands with the theme song etc.
Inukai Atsuhiro carries it with his facial expressions.
