Strongberry, I will give you my take on what you've said, however, it will be based on the fact that it is a BL (boy love) story.
Actually, a lot of BL fans are more than happy to pay and watch BL if the english subtitles are available. Not having english sub is one of the main reasons why people are forced to watch movies through illegal routes. Why pay to watch something they don't understand anyway? However, I see from peoples comments that your movie has english subtitles which is excellent (I have yet to watch the movie).
The failure of your film is most likely due to the issues below:
1. Lack of promotion - The BL industry has a very dedicated fandom. Like myself, there are many people who has watched most, if not all, of the BL movies/series out there and avidly keep an eye out for all the new ones coming out. There are lot of pages and groups on Facebook/IG that we follow, which means its impossible not to know about the latest/upcoming BL series. But, surprisingly enough, I only came across Long Time No See once or twice. If someone like me only came across it once or twice, that means most others wouldn't even have heard about it. Most of the BL group/page admin would be more than happy to promote your movie, if you kindly request it but ofcourse if the movie is bad no one will be willing to.
2. Perspective on Korean BL Movies - When I first came across this movie, I was instantly turned off from watching it because I was 100% sure it would be one of those movies with tragic ending. Korea is notorious for being homophobic, which unfortunately means, most of the BL movies are bound end in tragedy. It is this perspective of mine that probably lead me to disregard this movie. To make it worse, it has dark theme and as we know it dark theme = tragedy. Anyway if people like yourself don't create good movies with happy ending (because there are already too many tragic BL movies), no one will be interested to watch korean BL movies. A lot of us started off from watching Korean dramas/movies, so ofcourse we would be more than happy to watch Korean BL movies.
Anyway, I am off to purchase the movie and watch it :D I will rate the movie and evaluate it afterwards.

That's the thing with Addicted. Although it didn't fully cover the novel, a lot of it was portrayed in the series. The emotions were still there. Unlike Advance Bravely, I feel like it was just a shell of the novel. I am a bit dissapointed with Advance Bravely. Maybe because I had high expectation for it. :(
I am also heartbroken that it doesn't have Season 2. It is such a loss for BL fans. I hope some other country will pick it up and remake it.
1. Everything is moving too quickly. We are in ep 6 (1 hour) but she fell in love with him and wants to get over him already. Like did she even like him long enough to 'try' and get over him?
2. There is no depth to Joy's character. I don't understand what sort of person Eun Tae Hee is. Usually audience will feel some sort of emotion/connection to the female lead but I am really not feeling it with Eun Tae Hee. I don't know if it's the bland character or Joy's acting. I think I understand Soo Ji more than Tae Hee.
3. The chemistry between the leads. Woo Do Hwan has been doing an incredible job playing Kwon Si Hyun. You can see a range of emotions just by watching his eyes. I don't know when Si Hyun started liking Tae Hee but you can really see the vibes he is giving off. But Eun Tae Hee... I feel nothing... to the point where I don't know whether she likes Si Hyun or not. Like I said, I don't know if it's the bland character or Joy's acting.
But other than that it's a good drama so far. It wasn't as vicious I originally wanted it to be - probably coz the characters are teenagers but the drama itself is not as bad as some people say. I still look forward to the next episode.
I think Right or Wrong had better pacing. I felt too rushed with this one. But overall the story was excellent and the cast did such a brilliant job. And we all know what the best thing was.... the KISSES!! It was so cute... and sweet.... and luscious!!! Ok. I should stop sounding like a pervert now. **slowly backs away and puts ep 5 kiss scene on replay... while munching popcorn**

Agree with both of you. There wasn't a lot of story or depth to satisfy our BL needs but a sequel would definitely do the trick. However, I don't really think they will do a sequel.
