She used to be better. These days her acting feels so hollow and like indeed she went to plastic surgery clinic…
I don't agree with "she'd stop acting" but I agree on all your other points, so I liked your comment. I loved her in Healer but to be honest in all three other dramas that I watched her in I felt like her characters lacked emotional depth. Sometimes it may have been the writing but honestly I think it was mainly the lack of acting with her eyes. Even in the most emotional scenes I can't see any change of emotion in her eyes
Wow, comedians! π That's such a cool topic but I haven't really seen it in drama before, I'm pumped! π Also, Mr. Jung Ji Hyun's the director, which means that the cinematography is gonna be a-ma-zing β¨
so... did they make alcoholism into a comedy just like they do in other dramas ...?πΆ
That's a relief then π I also know that people have their lives and don't have time to watch things they don't enjoy. But yeah, I think that if they do not know the whole story, they should withdraw their judgment because if the creators have poured their hearts and worked so hard, and they have made objectively a well-made and well-told story it's a bit unfair to them π₯² I also know that stories are for people and not (only) for their creators but it makes me a bit sad when I see a really beautiful and well made drama which doesn't get enough credit π₯²
All in all, I know this drama isn't perfect (Even though I said so in one of the comments. Those were my feelings right after finishing the drama). It can sometimes be cheesy or a bit too picture-perfect (in a drama way) but those are little moments and I also think the characters deserved those moments after what they suffered. Because apart of those drama-like moments this drama is really realistic in the depiction of an addiction and the parallel of it is the depiction of human bonds. And it's beautiful and not reserved only for the FL and ML relationship. I thoroughly recommend it, and if you already like and appreciate Gong Myung (it's almost my first drama of his, because he somehow escaped my radar, and he's really great here) and Sooyoung (she's so great as always, I love her natural and hearfelt acting) I think you will enjoy it! π

Yeah, no problem! π Sorry if my answer sounded a bit harsh! It wasn't my intention but rather that people would give it a try, because it's a truly beautiful and meaningful drama ππ
I am pretty sure it was a dream and in the next scene episode he woke up
Yup. This drama narration style is full of red herrings, which for me personally was very interesting and entertaining, keeping me at the edge of my seat
This drama kinda lost the plot along the way. I thought it would take a more serious approach to alcoholism problems…
They do take it seriously. And it shows, if you watch it till the very end. But the drama also shows how beautiful life can be without alcohol, and thus the many other aspects of life are shown. It's a story about getting over it, or rather, holding out, and it's a very well told story in my opinion
Thank you, Sooyoung unnie, for starring in such meaningful dramas as If You Wish Upon Me and now Second Shot at Love πβ¨π I've just finished watching Second Shot at Love, and you were superb as always. Thank you for all that you do! Unnie fighting! π₯°β£οΈ
