I've read all of your review with amusing grin on my face., forgive me for that. As a die-hard fan of Sheng Shaoyou ( and Thousand Autumns too omg what a combo) it was a really interesting experience. Even if I strongly disagree about your opinion about him I think you can express your hate toward character. Your frustration totally understandable and relatable to many people. Plus, I've read a novel so I can't judge or critize your view about drama based on my mix drama&novel understanding about his character. He is a man formed/carved by his society circle. Should it make his sins much tolerable, I think no?? It's just a matter of preference. He never forces himself on any omega. Othervise, why he couldn't use his S-class pheremone onto HY before or after grape scene happened?? Then all HY lie would be exposed and everyone part their way gladly. Maybe it is useless rambling(I'm pretty sure you can view it in that way) but I just want to point, Sheng Shaoyou's mother had developed her disease by having strong depression if I remember correctly. He saw all negative side effects of "loving someone" (his mother loved SSY father too much) else too deeply. That's why he never treat "love" as something good. People tend to generalize things. He hates all his half-blood-siblings because of his mother's early death. Yeah, people should recognize this unhealthy patterns in real life but that's a novel where if no one had any flaws it would be called flat and boring. In the novel the reason why HY chose SSY because he protected him from a group of alphas in the childhood and said some kind words without asking anything in return which amazed enigma at that time. In addition their pheromone compatibility was very high. P.S I am pretty sure if sometime in the future Thousand Autumns will be serialized millions of people hate Yan Wushu character so much and call him a crazy lunatic. Should it make me love less Thousand Autumns, hell no. And I have to deeply apologize for behalf of all Desire fans. Sometimes people get carried away too much, it really makes me sad every time.
