There is a lot of charm about this drama, and I can see why it might be considered a classic. The ML's behavior is problematic at times, but I think the show knows this and addresses it during moments woven into the story. They don't say anything directly, (except one time from a side character) but there is a noticeable change in him as the story goes. This series also subverted my expectations on how the supernatural elements would be handled, and I enjoyed the times they switched bodies. The pacing was a bit slower than what I am used to, but I got used to it after some episodes. I was completely surprised by Hyun Bin's acting and didn't know he had such a huge range! I've only seen him in Crash Landing On You, and his character is really stoic in that series. Not saying he was emotionless, but in Secret Garden, he was so expressive and cute at times! Also, I don't know if people forget about him when they talk about this topic, or don't know he exists, but the character of Han Tae Sun is so important! He's such a good dynamic character and should be on any list that talks about LGBT representation. Totally recommend a watch if you are in the mood for some nostalgia!

I just finished watching it and realized one thing, where is ML's sister? :D
Pretty sure she was the one at the end with Director Lim as the casting director.

Why is one of the tags not split-personality, or multiple-personality? It should even be a part of the synopsis,…
That would ruin the reveal in the show.
On The Eighth Sense Mar 15, 2025
The story is pretty good and the two leads have good chemistry. The friendships are the best part though! I loved the trio of Jihyun, Aeri, and Joonpyo. They are so much fun. Yoonwon is also a great character and I loved her song and how she was a great senior for the club. The biggest downfall of this series is the editing and some of the camera work. It's so choppy in some parts that it's easy to get a bit confused on what's happening in the story. There's also events that happen that feel like they aren't really happening, so it's a bit jarring when the story continues from there and you realize it wasn't a dream. Another great aspect of this drama is the OST. There was one song I was actually so focused on I forgot I was watching a drama and had to go back.

Is it as good as My Dearest!?It's the last historical Kdrama I saw and I couldn't find anything better
I haven't seen My Dearest, yet, but it's on my list to watch. So I can't compare the two, but I don't think it's any worse. Probably just as good.

There isn't much that I want to say that is different than what other people are saying about this drama, except for the character Jo Deuk Chan played by Yun Ji On. I actually pegged him as the murderer probably around episode 10, but I was pleasantly surprised at the truth of what happened and the reason. I figured it out just before the reveal in the same episode, and I thought it was handled brilliantly by the actors. Yun Ji On does a fantastic job conveying the trauma of being gay in a conservative society, and how such a person would react if their biggest secret was revealed to the one person whose thoughts they care about the most. And then when everything is revealed, Do Ha still treats him with decency as a human and friend. While he still did the crime, he's not made out as some villain. Of course, I don't think they will stay friends for multiple reasons, but I imagine Do Ha would still visit him every so often. He's the most complex character in the drama and I wish we got more of him.
One of the best bromances in any kdrama! It's what kept me going, besides the second lead couple. Lee Dong Wook is just phenomenal in whatever he's in. Him and In Na are so great together. They are also the main couple in Touch Your Heart, which I recommend after this if you haven't seen it.

Maybe it's the photo angle. To me, him, Song Kang and Seo In Guk look similar.
My first thought was In Guk as well.

I love it so much! Made me laugh so hard at times, and also coo at their romantic moments. One thing that puts it at a 10 for me is that there is no unnecessary breakup at the end. I can't express how much I needed that.

As I was watching his performance in "When it rains, it pours" and all I could think of was that he would be the perfect live action Mafuyu Satō from Given! His look is perfect!

AMAZING DRAMA!! 10/10! There's so much to love about it. Every minute feels planned out and you are going along not sure what's going to happen next. I bawled my eyes out twice and did not stop until the end. The themes in this drama are intriguing, especially around the Devoted Hearts Association. I won't explain more as it will be a spoiler, but it surprised me that it was such an important part of the story, considering it's a topic not often discussed in a major drama. Also, if you love romantic scenes, this drama has some of the BEST!

To be honest, when I first saw his picture, I thought he was handsome enough, but didn't understand the hype. I've seen him in three different dramas now, and omg I LOVE HIM! He's so charming and I've gotten lost in his big, smokey eyes. Looking forward to watching more of his work!

On You Make Me Dance Feb 9, 2025
I liked this. It was cute at times and I like the synopsis of the story. However, some of the major plot points mentioned in the synopsis either didn't happen, or was very glossed over. I feel like this kind of story would do very well being at least 10 episodes at an hour long. Also, while the main couple is very cute, I feel like they showed the most chemistry in the behind-the-scenes montage at the end.

Don't know what a "saddle-carrying merchant" is, but I'm still hyped for this one and can't wait for it to come…
My guess is it refers to a saddle bag, basically an over the shoulder bag, that probably has goods in it to sell. So rather than having a stall, they go to the people.
