This was so good! Don't let the negative reviews sway you from starting. Admittedly, it's not perfect, and it honestly took me some time to get used to the new actress, but by the end I was sold on their romance.
At the last epi, Seo Yul re-established the academy like Master Seo. Naksu brought him 2 students, the girl with…
No, that person at the end was Son-i, Lady Heo's servant. And the boy was the same one that followed So-i around. Also, just like that other comment said, not anyone can just shift their souls into another body without doing the alchemy of souls. Master Lee could do it because he had achieved hwansu.
It's cute, but not a lot of depth. When you have a short series like this, every minute counts, and I feel like they could have done more. Definitely too short. Maybe keep the number of episodes, but have them be double the time. OST is absolute fire, though!
I loved this drama! It hit all the right notes for a rom com saeguk, and I didn't think there was as much political drama as I've seen in others. It's definitely there and an important plot point, but the reasoning behind the corrupt official feels different. In fact, while there are ominous tones used in the beginning episodes whenever he shows up, there are equal tones used with his "rival" official as well, so it was a bit harder to determine which one was going to be the main antagonist until further along in the story. I love all the main characters as well, and several of the side characters. I really like the tough problem the Crown Prince had to face, as it showed him a bit more complexly. Totally recommend for anyone that likes a regular sageuk with a fun twist!
This defied a lot of my expectations, and I love it for that! Characters that I thought would become villains, were actually good people. And some characters that I knew were good, had some very complex dilemmas that tested their characters. The female historians are amazing and I love how they got supported over time. One of the characters that I found most intriguing was Uwon. The contrast between him and his father was fascinating. I fully expected for there to be other romantic interests for any of the characters, but what unfolded wasn't really the case. Still, it wasn't really needed, as the story told from the historians was good enough. I was reluctant to start this because I'm not a huge fan of Shin Sae Keong's romantic acting, but I'm glad I did! Eunwoo also had fit his part well. I think his gentle voice really sold me on him.
This is just my own assumption, but I think this is based on the movie "The First Wives Club" starring Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, and Diane Keaton. Great movie to check out for sisterhood!
This show just isnt doing it for me.FL is a great actress yet i did not feel it hereThe concept of the story was…
He thought the girl was dead. That's why he struggled with traumatic flashbacks because Seo Ri kept reminding him of the girl he knew (because she is, but he doesn't know that yet). His therapist was even trying to tell him not to be confused, because he didn't know they were the same girl. I hope you finished the series, because much gets explained later.
How would this even work as a remake? Like are they planning on telling the same story, just with different actors? Because I can't see the story working in any other setting.
This man is so charming and adorable! Acting is acting, but the way he was able to hide his true nature from his roles is a serious talent. I just finished watching QoT and didn't feel anything from him while he was on screen, but then I watched him in interviews and what a 180! He's the sweetest, cutest, and so witty!
If you've read the webtoon, they changed some things about the backstories of the characters, so be prepared for that. Other than that, I think it was adapted really well, and is one of the cutest rom coms ever!
I absolutely loved this drama!
