In the series, Porsche's mom and Gun/Korn's mystery looks like the main arc of the entire plot, so in season 2 every character will be relevant for the story development, as it's a family issue that involves Kinn, Porsche, Vegas, Macau (therefore, Pete), Chay and Kim. Things have just started, in my opinion. They stablished the main affective relationships between characters in season 1 to elevate them in season 2. There's much more to say about them. Even Kinn and Porsche's relationship can mature and evolve a lot through conflict and dilemma, if the scriptwriters leave the book aside and writes according to season 1's tone.

A sensory adventure, indeed. Technically speaking(acting, setting, photography, coloring, camera work), is not vain at all, that's what I wanted to say in my loooooong post earlier. And characters and story are better than those of the original source, too. Objectively speaking, is a visual and entertaining feast.
So, well, I like it more and you like it less, but wasn't this discussion interesting? That's what counts, at the end of the day 😅

Nah. Probably BoC is silent because they don't want to give Daemi more popularity than what they already have, and most probably BoC think it's not worth to shake things up. They have their hands full with the WorldTour, the upcoming projects and the cast's promo, so it's obvious they don't have time nor will to give a shit about Daemi.

If you think about it, they are not obligued to follow the original source 100% even if Daemi are involved in the series development, as it happens with Game of Thronws or The Witcher, the script team has the right to change even key things from the original sources. The series plot and characters are already different from the novel ones, and in the series, characters evolve quite more so making them walk backwards wouldn't make any sense, and Pond must know that.

Well, if VegasPete's arc triggered you, that means it's hella good delivered and conveyed, as the production didn't intend to romantize it, they just wanted to tell their story in a quite objective manner. They just fell for each other in an hostile environment, as they are emotionally hurt characters since childhood and they found a point of mutual understanding in each other. Is it morally correct or beautiful? Not at all. Is it human and heartwrenching? Indeed. It's a good story to be told, morally right or wrong, in my opinion.
Oh, I don't think the ending is a "they lived happily forever", it's just the calm before the
storm. Wished it was a bit darker, too, but well...

If there's a second season, the story will be totally different from the novel. Second season differs too much already, the plot doesn't follow many key points from the novel, so...
Well, about character's deaths... If they make sense and are well written, with a purpose, them I'm good with it (even if I love the character who dies, if it's coherent, I'm fine with that because it follows the story's tone). But if it's a free death, just for the cheap drama... nah. I just hope Pond delivers a stronger script, since the core of the story is about to start now. Power struggles and moral and affective dilemmas? Give us all of it, Be On Cloud!!

Also, a vanity project for a rich dude with a crush? You're talking about Mile? Ok. But I totally disagree.
-First of all, Mile is a bussinessman more than an actor. So if he chosed this project I doubt it was because he was crazy for Apo or something like that LOL. Most probably he knew KP would become a hit, so he chosed this series for personal, familiar (his family brands) and international success, promotion and recognition. He's a wise man, more rational than emotional, that's obvious from the way he talks.
-Secondly, yeah, the original source, which I'm currently reading is quite vain and empty. But the series? I don't think so. It's full of multilayered characters and complex human relationships. It's far from a Philosophycal masterpiece, but it has intention and passion. And what's more important: the will to deliver us experimental, emotive, interesting scenes and a mysterious plot full of grey characters that have flaws and virtues. That's not vain, don't you think so? Each frame tells a whole story: the lighting, the characters position in the scene, the camera work... Everything is meaningful and every detail has his motive to appear in a sequence.
KP is indeed a fiction full of non realistic Mafia World situations, of course. But it makes perfect sense in his fictional inner coherence and inner World. And each character's story is worth watching and knowing, as they are not lineal, monochrome characters. They are quite human, lovely sometimes, erratic, impulsive and silly others. That's quite interesting, in my opinion.

Are we giving our opinions over the cast's acting? I'm in LOL.
Well, first of all, I'm a huge fan of Acting, and KP had both brilliant and non convincing acting, but I feel every actor made a good job portraying their characters. In fact, each actor gave way more personality to his character and each couple shared much more chemistry than the ones from the original source, so first possitive point for the actors. There's quite implicit language, a lot of implicit acting which lays in the silent details, and everyone conveys that fairly well, so second possitive point for them. Lest we forget, most of the cast lacks real acting experience, so conveying subtle emotions must've been a huge challenge for them, but hey!! they did it almost perfectly. They conveyed a lot without a single word so, 4 possitive points for the cast. Leaving aside the general punctuation system, let's talk about each actor's acting separately.
-Mile: Not good at crying scenes. A few times when things get so dramatic, his mouth seems to be on the verge of laughter. BUT he definitely knows how to act with his eyes (brutal, how his eyes said everything Kinn felt when he noticed Big had died) and voice (his tone changes to each emotion are no joke), and undoubtedly he has impressive presence. His acting is 7/10 for me, and rising. Btw, his acting in erotic scenes is the best I've ever seen, and erotic scenes are soooo hard to portray, so he's a 8/10.
-Apo: Master of emotional changes. Sometimes his acting reminds me of Tony Leung, as he uses his eyes a lot to speak. Really good on action and comedy scenes, as well as in spicy and naughty ones. While Mile is more intense, more visceral in erotic/action scenes, Apo is more "elegant", more feline. Please, who can deny their 10/10 acting in episodes 4 and 7 sexy scenes? That's top acting. Apo's not good at conveying rage or hatred, seems forced, so he's a 9/10 for me.
-Build: Solid in subtle dramatic scenes, perfect control of rage scenes. When he shouts at Vegas in ep 11, in the tub scene when Pete can't take talking about the traumatic events and when Pete leaves the Main Family absolutely heartbroken, Build is just fantastic. A little forced in comedy and crying scenes. 8/10 for me.
-Bible: Absolutely good at adjusting his voice tone to the scene. Almost perfect in rage, heartbroken and subtle sarcastic scenes. Crying scenes are so natural for him. I don't think Bible has a paticular weak scene in the series, so he's a 9/10 for me.
-Jeff: Good at playing polite but cold scenes. He's perfect playing surprised or lowkey amused Kim. A little forced in crying, dramatic scenes. 8/10.
-Barcode: Amazing at visceral, dramatic, crying scenes. Very good at portraying innocent, shy, stuttering Chay. Not so good at overamused, sincerely happy feelings. 7,5/10.
Hell yeah. The Acting was really good. I'm curious about why the ones that find it bad or mediocre do so, so if you could explain your reasons, I'd be more than happy to read them 😚

I've watched 8 episodes, and this series gets better and better.
The direction, the story, the narrative and the acting are a huge WOAH.
I feel this is gonna be the best series I´ll watch this year,
along with Pachinko and KinnPorsche (which visuals are just out

For the trailer, it seems so. The way Mile's character paints his instrument at the same time Apo's character applies his make-up looks like a romantic metaphor to me. BL or not, the acting is gonna be awesome, so the movie will be worth watching 😍
