Why is the rating so low ? A very good movie overall, quite long but very interesting. However I admit the battle and the ending disappointed me a little.
Not bad, but nothing happens in this movie. The characters have no depth. It's like I watched this because first i want to know the past of these 5 peoples and how will they evolve during the movie but honestly at the end, I just didn't care.
Wow, it was not good, really not. Looks like an adaption from a weird manga's serial killer story. The characters are so badly introduced and developped, they brought no empathy. For 20-30 minutes, the movie was quite good with this heavy and dark atmosphere during the first two crimes, but after that, you only have nonsense and tearjerker scenes filled with insufficient acting. The story is really cheap with no ambitions. The movie only rely on Shun's acting which is good but awfully not enough.
Good movie, slow pace, damn beautiful, good actors and lovely lead. I just found the ending was too cursory, but overall it was a very beautiful and interesting movie !
The first episode and the first half of the 2nd episode are a copy-paste, then the japanese version takes an other…
For me, yeah the difference in acting completely change the drama. I mean for example french actors and americans actors could overall act slightly different but this difference is like nothing compared to the huge difference between japanese and south korean actors, i mean they have a totally different way to express all their emotions. And cinema/tv shows are all about transmitting emotions, so yeah it's different.
I dont know, when I watched the first ep and the first half of the 2ep, for me it was like watching exactly the same thing in terms of story than the korean version, but after that i found it was somehow different, not only bc they changed the case but like they tried to break away a little from the korean version. Also there is far less episodes in the japanese version and there are shorter, so it would be faster and more direct that the korean version anyway.
Personnaly, I didn't like the korean version, I stopped after 6 eps, the story is good but all the things I mentionned in my first post to characterize korean version pissed me off so hard, I can't continue the drama. So, I'm glad we have this japanese one which is for me very good for now.
Wow 8.8 score? After watching the first 2 episodes and having previously watched the Korean twice I must say that…
The first episode and the first half of the 2nd episode are a copy-paste, then the japanese version takes an other path, and I'm just talking about the story. The both version are clearly different from a cultural point of view, in the korean version, you have these tearjerker or softhearted scenes, your huge package of cliches and shorcuts like in all korean dramas, you have these officers yelling and fighting everytime like they want to prove who have the biggest, you have the oppressive and so aggressive hierarchy. On the other hand, I think the japanese version is more calm and down-to-earth, for now... And gestures and mannerims are completely different between Japan and S. Korea, for example in S.K dramas, the number of insults is quite amazing, while it's overall more respectful in Japan, or in S.K dramas, they love to talk to themselves, so expressing emotions is completely different between the two countries. So no, it's not just a copy-paste.
On the contrary, for me the leading actor was very good, and so are the others. It's difficult to compare the acting between the two countries, because as I said before, they are so different. S. Korean do it their way and Japanese do it their way. They don't take this actor to act like the S. Korean actor did, you can't judge him badly because you have these expectations, and you should wait for his character to develop, we only have two eps.
Very good movie here guys. Just about a girl's transformation throught boxing, but it's not your classical american movie where the guy go from nothing to kick everybody's a$$, no it's not something like that, it's more real, more down-to-earth, and sometimes pessismistic, but really you should give it a try, it's GOOD.
How can people say it's good, it's an awful movie, really guys. There's no accounting for taste, I know it, but gosh I can't understand. Althought I would have probably like it if I was 12 years old, maybe, or maybe not.
Not bad, the construction of the movie is quite weird but finally very interesting when you understand the thing. Slow pace, funny interactions between characters but it's like the movie is only based on these interactions, there is not really something for the viewer to hold on to, I wouldn't say it's boring but sometimes i was at this "nearly stop the movie point". For me, it looks like an experiment, a good one I mean but fairly unperfect.
The two main actors physically fit the characters but damn their acting is so bad, i didn't even know what i was watching. Is that a comedy ? It should be a drama or at least a detective SP. Why she can casts spells ?! It's just a criminal, not a wizard. Anyway, I don't recommand that thing, but you really should watch the 1962 "Black Lizard" movie which is very good.
This movie is really good, actors are perfect and so charismatic, music is all over the film and it gives it quite an eccentric note, the story is simple but good enough. For me, the only problem I can point out is about the cutting of the movie, some parts are less interesting and less powerful. But overall, it's a masterpiece.
Why can't *certain* people appreciate things without trying to find anything "problematic" in them and complain?
And to finish, about the drama, the beginning feels very cliche and the synopsis doesn't really pique my interest but why not it's a WOWOW after all, I'll eventually watch it one day.

Isn't it childish to complain about if the character is not like u want.
