This one's a hidden gem! I LOVED it! The build up, their chemistry all was on point for a feel good, stress-free watch. I wish the actors well!! May they grow with each project! Kudos to the creative team!
Does it appear to anyone that Night moved on from Joy too fast? She literally died in front of him, so I find it a tad bit odd that he would be even interested to talk to another girl, specially when he believes he is the reason for her death. On the other hand Day had no choice but to live with Ozone and be his care taker. So the budding romance between Night and Dream feels off for me. I am enjoying the series none the less. Romance is not the focus anyways. There is so much more to explore!
Vegas-Pete, I still miss them. They had little screen time but were immensely impactful. Both actors did very well portraying the layers of complex emotions ranging from hate, despair, confusion, desire, dependency and love. A visual treat and an amazing journey. Thank you for including them in this editorial piece and thank you for this editorial!
Many spoilers ahead! In every universe, he was full of regrets, his mother died of cancer, his sister got cancer, he was lonely and unhappy, in one universe he even had a child by accident while living together with the mother for 6 years! If I was imagining my life in a parallel universe, I would want it to be happier than the one I am living now, just saying! Or may be I missed the point (very much possible). The concept was intriguing, but the protagonist was so depressed in all universes that it was hard to watch. I did enjoy the universe where the young Dong Joon ran after the police car. I mean who doesn't love the protagonist to run after their dreams, in this case universe. I cannot say I enjoyed the movie very much but I also cannot say its a bad movie. Its worth watching at least for the concept and letting your imagination run wild. I sure thought about what me in other universes would be like :). Also for the book references!
