Nao and Tiger's story begins when they're in high school technically.

He doesn't want more. He is of course a little hurt by seeing how many people like Fah. He loves him and is a normal human being, there's no way he wouldn't feel that way. But, he still doesn't expect anything out of sending letters to Fah and doesn't want Fah to really contact him or know it's him either.

Phoon's behaviour changes quite a bit once he finds out that his mother didn't abandon/forget about him and that his dad isn't his only family. That positively influences a lot of his decisions + his friends' unwavering support and understanding.

There's a difference between how well-adjusted adults operate and those with complex PTSD. Let's also keep in mind that Phoon is a child (17-18 at best). You can't expect him to make the decisions we would want him to make.

Having read all the novels, TigerNao's story is actually really heartwarming and cute. I'm looking forward to it.

Arthit and Daotok's story is definitely the most lighthearted of the bunch. There are some heart wrenching parts but they're very short and Arthit isn't someone who dwells on his sadness for too long, he processes things quickly.

Also both Arthit and Dao have very loving parents like Johan and North so that's a plus.

If Between Us was any indication, telling a parallel timeline story is super boring lol

A lot of the flashbacks in the novel happen because Phoon is telling his friends about his past and opening up to them. I guess it'll be similar in the show.

It'll probably go back to present timeline (after HillTer and JohanNorth get together) since we saw what happened between then in Season 1 already. I'm sure we'll get a montage though of how Phoon met his friends from his POV etc.

Idk if the show will touch on Phoon being ready to kill himself until he meets Easter and North, if it does it'll be quite shocking I think.

If GMMTV is smart, they'll do something like ThamePo with Felizz.

If the first few episodes are emotional in a sad way, the next few will be emotional in a happy way. Phoon finds a purpose to live after he meets his friends (Easter, North, and Daotok) and finds the family he never had.

I think they've known each other since childhood, but they've never been friends, their relationship is very formal still, mainly because of Typhoon's dad.
