im currently watching this knowing its ending but i need something to watch while i wait for more eps of Against the current to come out. The story has great potential, I'm on episode 8 and i fell the quality decreasing every episode, and them missing the mark with the execution. like it could have been GREAT, but it just doesn't land. I loved the ML character in the first 2 or 3 eps. I dislike this actress in general but oh well. But genuinely... the have no chemistry (especially after episode 3). Their developing affection is supposed to feel natural, but instead it feels forced. This could be again bcs of the lack of chemistry or the drama's failure in delivering things properly. Its like the ingredients of making an absolutely delicious cake is right there, yet just because of how things were mixed and put together, it ends up tasting mediocre or even bad... I think its such a waste, bcs this storyline sounds amazing... theoretically

honestly that scene was really wonky for me too, like only thing that makes more sense is if they did it before the 2 years before she left but she didn't get pregnant. they consummated and finally its not one sided and then they reunited after 2 years this time full happy and in-love and they are constantly together now so she got pregnant. There are so many time skips and it really made no sense to wait another 2 years to consummate when she had already accepted him as her husband. bcs if not then what on earth did 2 years of not seeing each other do to suddenly make her want to consummate...
