???? You know she was purposely trying to buy time for the ML and his troops so her friends would not die....…
I know. First of all, she didn't kill him in the end anyway which means she thinks he serves a purpose alive (I truly hope that's the case otherwise wth would she leave him alive). Second, I'm not just talking about that scene. Its been a recurring theme from the beginning. And its quite common when there is an actual super strong FL, they have to make her super weak, so that she's weaker than ML because masculinity and shit. I understand that, but I hate it when they make it ridiculous, just so ML can "save" her... Like we already have so many dramas like that. this woman is an army general, let her be consistent with it and not pick and choose. Do army general not get injured? Of course they do, but they don't get hurt every single battle they are in, they'd be dead before they're famous/known. And they certainly do the majority of "saving" than being "saved"
I liked that fighting scene from episode 12 (it could have been more epic though) Also I'm not liking the fact that to make the ML look very strong they downplay FL strength. Like she always needs his saving at the end of the day. Girl how the hell she survived up until now??? Mulan saved the army and the general, not the other way around. The ML can be strong without weakening the FL, they can be on same level. Or you can just make him ultra impossibly strong to balance out. I'm annoyed a bit
I don't feel like watching xianxia these days and I really want to watch a Liu Xue Yi drama (don't ask why, okay? 𓁹‿𓁹 ) but 1. I CANNOT stand the female lead... 2. I know this has a shitty ending... I've seen snippets of the first 2 episodes and I was like F YEAH! but damn... I've already watched princess gambit (which was really good in the first half, disappointed me in the second half) Should i just start this? Maybe knowing a disappointing ending is coming won't hurt so much???
I was really looking forward to this drama, but i have to say i am finding it really really slow.
i don't think its slow in general, in fact i think it moves too fast in some places while other places it seems to be dragging for no real reason... but there is something lacking which I can't really put my finger on. It started as a 7 for me and has remained a 7, 10 episode later and unless they pull a sudden amazing plot twist, it would probably only go downhill which is sad because I really wanted to like this.
hmmmm... okay first episode was good but fell short a bit because be it the editing or writing, baby girl is a freaking famous war general, why did she get defeated so easily???? I reallly hope this improves the more it goes on
Ey! I didn't know Song Yi Meng is here!!! I've been putting off watching this drama because I hear it has a very sad ending... after ADWAD I'm craving something more serious but not devastating... idk what to do!!!
hmmmmm... I really like time travel but I never can fully connect with Yoona's acting. I really want to give it a shot though and be pleasantly surprised
Just watched the first episode and it was quite boring until the very very end, and it's quite low quality for a kdrama in my opinion. I'm planning to watch one or two more episodes and decide to drop it or not.
Epsiode 26... Yimeng, GIRL!! Until now I was on your side because you hadb't seen NH good side but now... Wth!! be a little nice at least, you're being overly cruel now.

I just finished episode 2 and I'll give it maybe 1 more episode before I drop
Is this better? worse?
