oh my god!!! I'm on episode 23 now, I literally tortured myself and didn't watch until this finished so i could binge because I love this so freaking much!!!!!!!!! Guys help me, It 4 am!!!!
wow... woww... on episode 25 now and I want to pull out FL freaking hair!!!! And seeing what people are saying about the ending my blood is boiling. This literally started perfectly! It could have been phenomenal! Wth is up with the writers??
The script especially regarding the female lead is so annoying and illogical.
I'm now on episode 20 and im so angry! This series started off so so well, I even rated it higher than a dream within a dream that I'm also watching but it suddenly took a head dive into this bullshit with amnesia. If they had made it her actual plan and not an actual amnesia that might have been somewhat better but its still the lousiest plot devices used in cdramas ughhhhh
girl wth!!!?? why would you do that??? Why doesn't FL just tell SZY? why is she acting like she actually wanted to kill the guy??? girl... you know he likes you or else you'd already be dead by now. so tell him the truth!!! ugh!!!
on episode 15 and I actually feel so so sorry for the Meng daughter. In a different story, her storyline would be worthy of being for the main character who breaks free
Ah, and that's a wrap! I'm sad this series finished. Although it disappointed me in a couple of aspects it also impressed me in others. I don't feel like I wasted my time and actually enjoyed watching this. Now I have to wait patiently for A dream within a Dream. I hope I'd see people who watched and enjoyed this series there too! That one's a rom com so we can all laugh together! (I swear if that one ends up having a tragic ending I'm swimming to China to speak with the director)
It definitely does move into a more romantic genre, it feels like it changed from the beginning of the series.…
oh yep I'm exactly like you. For example I really really enjoyed stroy of kunning palace because it remained serious until the end and ML was truly morally grey. This guy turned from a fearsome general to a cutie patootie... Unlike his novel version where he was very rough and ever so slowly learned to be more gentle. The only reason I didn't drop this (especially during that time were it was lagging behind) was because I had put so much time into reading the novel and followed this page until the drama came out I got attached to it in a way. It has many short comings but if you are one day in the mood to see fluff... or I guess semi-fluff you should pick this back up.
I dropped this on ep 15 when was starting to turn into rom com from serious stuff and Wei Shao's character to…
It definitely does move into a more romantic genre, it feels like it changed from the beginning of the series. It's basically just a love story after the first couple of episodes but its a satisfying watch in my opinion. I don't think this is a masterpiece but its quite decent. It's a 7.5/10 for me
