I don't feel like watching xianxia these days and I really want to watch a Liu Xue Yi drama (don't ask why, okay? 𓁹‿𓁹 ) but 1. I CANNOT stand the female lead... 2. I know this has a shitty ending... I've seen snippets of the first 2 episodes and I was like F YEAH! but damn...
I've already watched princess gambit (which was really good in the first half, disappointed me in the second half)
Should i just start this? Maybe knowing a disappointing ending is coming won't hurt so much???

i don't think its slow in general, in fact i think it moves too fast in some places while other places it seems to be dragging for no real reason... but there is something lacking which I can't really put my finger on. It started as a 7 for me and has remained a 7, 10 episode later and unless they pull a sudden amazing plot twist, it would probably only go downhill which is sad because I really wanted to like this.

hmmmm... okay first episode was good but fell short a bit because be it the editing or writing, baby girl is a freaking famous war general, why did she get defeated so easily????
