Yh when u explain it like this it does make more sense. And by coward I was mostly pointing at him being reluctant to do things straight away, like why does it take 15 years to break an engagement, or why must he leave her side to take care of some "matters", etc.

I understand he went through several years of trauma and might be reluctant to directly go against his bro, and he also doesn't want any sort of retribution for the horrifying things that guy has done to him (this part doesn't go with my personality lol it's more of a nitpick)but at the end I feel like he is a bit too weak for the FMC and her personality (although I think he is really cute with his relationship with her)

I honestly loved the drama when I started it. It was something fresh, it's just the last couple of episodes (12-18) kinda felt like fillers.

No matter how much you love someone physical abuse would never be okay. Agree to disagree I guess. Honestly, all of these men so called "love" her but non of them truly deserve her. She deserves much better

Wdym? He literally tortured her, whipped her, broke her leg, knowing she was a woman (not that her being a man would be too different) and he never apologized. What’s there to be felt? Unless she’s a masochist this “love” is insane. But that aside, I was mostly talking about watchers preferring him over the other two. I guess I understand him over Xuan a little but over 17 is questionable. Yes, he is weak and can’t really protect her (at least until the parts I’ve seen) and a coward man is an absolute turn off but his relationship is literally the healthiest and sweetest.

Hence its only on a mini hold. I go back to it for an episode or two before giving up again. I’m proud to say i’ve reached episode 11 now xD

I appreciate them trying to stay very close to the manga, but this is getting very boring and the plot is dragging. Also still not understanding the love for XL…

Can someone explain to me why she’s all nice and forgiving to the serpent guy? Like the things he did to her when they first met while KNOWING shes a woman is just…no. Also why does she keep on letting him feed on her (i mean i know she doesn’t really have the power to stop him, but it feels like shes looking forward to it) Idk… im episode 6 rn and her closeness to him doesnt make sense especially after those whips. Did something more happen in the novel that make this make more sense?
