Haha I was mostly talking to myself after the post I made and was shocked that there was an after math series… I was really excited for because I wanted to know more about what happened after… thanks for the reply and I’m glad you also found the sequel ;)
Non linear story telling … I never liked it but this added to the mystery behind this story. At first it’s a simple “get rich, get girl” scheme… then gradually they story of the friends unfolds and you begin to understand what the “master plan” really is. I honestly really liked this. I wish it dove deeper and explained more but overall it was a very driven film, I wanted to know. Does it leave questions? Yes! But it was worth it. 9/10 for me, definitely recommend it! A reviewer compared it to Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning… “it's as beautiful in its tragedy” well said! I loved both films. Maybe in part because of that.
So at the end he walked away… I assuming he left military ?!
He did the same as the people he was out looking for… he deserted. Which means he literally left his military duty without permission and just ran away! It’s so fitting for the series!! I LOVED the ending.
You’re right! It was one episode everyday but then the schedule changed to two episodes mon/tues/wed. .. I honestly don’t know why it changed but someone did post the schedule below! :) they might know more

SAME! I read somewhere that the director wanted the people to not be able to breath (from crying so much), that's how sad he wanted to make it. such a fitting title for the movie too. i cry ugly tears everytime-- but i watch it when i need an excuse to cry XD still such a beautiful film
I have a soft heart, I don't know if I am ready to watch this. Seems like a very sad one.
Well, we know what’s going to happen to the mother just by the title. I think this will be worth the watch, simply because we all have to say goodbye to the ones we love, no one lives forever. But if you had the chance to spend that time with them, what would you do? How would you spend it? It will be an emotional show, I’m sure, but maybe there is something within for you that you can take with a grain of salt. A Series like this also brings about hope. I’m up to episode 6, I’m taking my time, and it’s lovely so far. The struggles single parents can go through, students can go through, and the hope for a brighter future. The unbreakable bond between family. I’d say it’s worth it :)
i can already tell im going to enjoy this! I must say I’m hooked, rarely do I wish there were more episodes or that it deserves a second season… but this is phenomenal! Everyone’s acting is on point!! This jumped to one of my favourite dramas of 2021! (After 2 episodes)
Update: Literally binged watched it in a day. I now understand why it was only 8 episodes , soooo well written. The only difference that I would have made is that she died fighting, I think that would have been a fitting end. This ending leaves you questioning what kind of “monster” she will become? What will happen to her now that she really has no one? 9.5/10 One of the best of 2021. From the actors who played bad guys (mannnn can they act crazy, actually like gangjae initially)… to the good guys, to the FL … excellent!! Casting director was spot on! If you like tragedy, suspense, mystery, action, heck they even through in a bit of romance(which surprised me because at first I wasn’t for it then I started to like it and then curve ball!) ! Like this is a wild ride! Watch it! I wasn’t disappointed one bit! I’ll definitely have to rematch again soon.
