So I came back to say that the chemistry between NAMNUNG and SUNNY clearly wasnāt fake on the show. Sadly, the choices at the end were limited, and NAMNUNG didnāt actually come out for either Sunny or Time. I canāt really blame NAMNUNG; she was probably afraid of rejection and uncertain about SUNNYās feelings.
After the show, Sunny said that she and TIME realized theyāre better off as best friends. I also get the impression that something might be going on between TIME and TOD, though Iām not completely sure.
As for NAMNUNG and SUNNY, I honestly think they might be dating. There have been a few live videos outside the show where their interactions feel⦠a little too telling. Something definitely seems different between them.
Lastly, you can watch āLOVE(X) Mini Series: Roommates In Love,ā which is currently airing now.
I just watched episode 10, and this is how it played out: ā When SUNNY was called, only two people came out (Joy and Matheus). Sunny didnāt choose either of them. Namnung didnāt come out at all. ā When TOD was called, only two people came out (Mill and Kong). Tod didnāt choose either of them. ā When TIME was called, only two people came out (Sunny and Tod). Time, unsurprisingly, chose Sunny.
That was the end.
I am happy Namnung didn't come out for Time or Sunny. She deserves better. If thereās a Season 2, I can say with confidence I wonāt bother watching.
She tried to force the ML to sleep with her and ignores him repeatedly saying No. (If the genders were switched…
āForceā is a very strong word youād be better off saying āseduce.ā Did she tie him up? Iām starting to think some people are overly prejudiced. I have seen reverse situations where it gets much worse of how the ML's in some CDrama's treat the FL's, yet people still swoon over it. Thankfully, when the stories progress the ML treats the FL nicer.
She is too self reliant...I can understand that at the beginning of the drama, but towards the ending when ML…
You might just have to blame the poor writing in the last five or six episodes.
The ML clearly became more emotional toward the end. Yes, it was his job to investigate, solve, and decide, but he was suddenly dragged into a family he didnāt even know he had; discovering a brother while everyone around him was scheming. I fail to see how the FL made things worse. If anything, she helped resolve his family issues. His emotional exhaustion stemmed mainly from his father, not her.
And letās not forget that the ML also helped the FL deal with several issues within the Rong family.
Lastly, the FL comes from a matriarchal family, which is practically unique in their world, especially since patriarchy remains the dominant social system. This alone makes it very different from the usual Chinese dramas weāre used to. Weāve seen countless dramas where MLs treat FLs poorly/a bit bad until they eventually āchange,ā and no one questions it; red flags are painted green, or viewers look for tragic backstories to justify the MLās behaviour and explain why he did what he did.
If anything, the only thing the FL may be at fault for is not fully sharing all of her plans with the ML.
Some people are calling the FL a red flag, but Iām genuinely confused. So far, I havenāt seen any reasonable criticism; only prejudice. If the issue is communication, both the ML and FL share that flaw. Did the FL harm anyone? I think not.
Love your sense of humour.

There are plenty of dramas out there that are ML-centered or have equal focus on both leads.
So if this one isnāt for you, feel free to move on and watch those instead. No one is forcing you.

I will for sure re-watch as many times as I can.
