Even though I technically didn’t watch yet, I will say that people do grieve differently. And if you remember…
I’ll watch it and then I will let you know. But I still think that he processes things differently and he already processed the grief of SY being “dead“ before it ever happened. Raising him lovingly I don’t know if that’s necessarily a term I would use for a psychopath serial killer.. I think that he became a cop because he always wanted to be one and SY couldn’t really stop him because then that would’ve been suspicious. He had already filled his head with enough, lies and prayed upon him with his amnesia. I do think that SML is going to need a lot of therapy after all of this.
Yeah, that was definitely a gasp moment. Had it gone to the actual person it was meant to at least one person…
So now we start towards that end since express drops tomorrow and hopefully bring everything back full circle and explain how HJ/HP whatever or actually involved.
Bruh I am so disappointed with the Shen Yi plotline, like gurll what?? He died just like that??? Wtf and also…
Even though I technically didn’t watch yet, I will say that people do grieve differently. And if you remember the way SML had been acting before he was crying and everything else when he found out that SY was not his real dad I think in a way for him, that was the death of SY. I mean, when you learn the truth about your identity and the fact that you had a biological family and that this man, even though he raised him, lovingly has been controlling and manipulating him all his life; that’s the grief. He has been grieving every single time he confirms that SY kills another person that’s another stab in the heart. So I’m not at all surprised that after what I’ve been seeing is a very anti-climactic and stupid death of SY he wasn’t too broken up over it. Everything that happened afterwards he now distanced himself.
That’s what I’ve been thinking all along as well. We really don’t know about HJ‘s real character. They could both be bad but HJ also know how to play good.
I loved that scene sooo much!!! It's so ironic that the one I was loving at the start I ended up hating later…
Me too. I just want a good ending with our leads still alive and working together and I want serial killer Daddy die a slow and fiery death or in prison for life waiting for his execution.

It is pretty interesting how they flip the script on us, but I like it that way. The most highly suspicious person is the good guy and the supposedly least likely suspicious person albeit ridiculously creepy, and controlling is the worst possible thing on earth.
