What is it now?
Oh thank God. Because when you finish work near 5 AM going back to work at 9 AM isn’t cool at all.

The scene is so so powerful and so strong and brought tears to my eyes because that is exactly what PTSD looks…
Thank you for caring. It's definitely a work in progress. It's been 9 1/2 years. But there has been progress and it's not something thankfully that happens to me every day like it used to. I've got enough of other things to worry about, unfortunately. But yes, I definitely recommend people that don't know much about PTSD to read up on it. You never know who around you may suffer from it or you may think of volunteering with folks that go through it and helping someone.

Ok gang, review is up. I can finally put the dumpster fire away. Thank you to all those who chatted with me in this comment section as we tried to preserve our sanity. I look forward to seeing you in future much better dramas. Stay blessed.šŸ˜‡

Well, I might be wrong, but looking at the previews. It seems like they will open up to each other soon.
Yeah, I had the same feeling looking at the previews. PS I’m glad they put the previews back on the platform. That was annoying for two days.

You’re welcome. The thing that I actually found out about PTSD when I was diagnosed with it was that I had always assumed that people only get PTSD if they were in combat like in the series or if they dealt with tremendous abuse in their lives. I had no idea that PTSD could come from medical trauma, which is what it was in my case. So I learned a lot about the disease because when I was going through it before I was diagnosed, I had no idea that that’s what it was. I just assumed it was an increase in depression and anxiety that I’ve had for decades before. But then a psychiatrist told me no your symptoms are PTSD and I was like wow really so medical trauma and near death experience can create this too. It was very eye-opening just on what exactly can cause PTSD.

It is very real, even though the country that they are depicting is fake. They just found a lot of grassland and built a set on it and made it X country. Which is impressive all in itself. I’ve dealt with a lot of psychological issues, PTSD and depression and anxiety included, and it is very realistic. I can tell you. I’ve seen dramas where it has not been realistic, and I will call them out very quickly on it but here it’s very much so. And it makes you want to cry and hug them And just keep telling them ā€œyou will get through this. You just have to keep fighting. Yes it’s hard. Yes, I know but fighting is the only way to get to that light at the end of the tunnel.ā€

This scene was just...😭✨Li Zan being so selfless, even when he wanted to get well. It was for someone else🤧
I think to a degree he realizes that he needs to heal for himself, but he also wants to heal for her. And I think in return, she will heal him. Because that’s the type of people they are. They are completely selfless. They put other people first. So when he decides this for her, she will reciprocate.

The scene is so so powerful and so strong and brought tears to my eyes because that is exactly what PTSD looks like. You sweat you fold your body into a ball you bang on things you scream you have panic attacks; it’s horrific. And I’m speaking from personal experience.

I absolutely agree on this point, taking the scene of the explosion for example. The scene has been shot and it…
Don’t worry, I live on spoil there’s nothing to worry about there. But I do agree if they film the scenes they should’ve showed them.

I think that they're showing the point of view from the ML and FL's perspective. That is, as a protective mechanism,…
I understand that I’m just saying that from a filmmakerā€˜s perspective that should’ve been shown not necessarily the characters talking about it and what not. Just let the audience see it. Though I think that later on ML remembers a lot more and it does hinder him a lot.

She wrote a whole discussion thread about it as well. I don’t understand the point of this either.
I asked about this as well in the comments. It doesn’t make any sense why anyone would do that and this is why I think that reviews should be kept until after the show finishes airing at least.

Nothing on episode one with UTS cast?
Or could be related to their new year.

I think there should’ve been less flashbacks and talking about what had transpired and actually shown in film. If they can show the terrorists being shot and blown up and what not they could show what happened to the people we care about. I haven’t watched today’s episodes yet, but I want to know how JL died. I don’t want it to just be spoken through. Because that’s not how it’s really experienced in real life. If they’re going to bring PTSD to the forefront, then they have to bring all of it not just bits and pieces.
