I actually caved in and just washed episode 16 and I’m so happy he told her about his PTSD. I will rewatch 16 after I watch 15 and see how this whole mascot started but I’m just so happy they opened up to each other. Obviously everything is sad, but that’s like he was Atlas holding the world on his shoulders And now he was able to take that world at least a little bit off.

He said all of the right things to her from an outsiders perspective. Did SR and LZ open up about their health issues to each other a little bit at least? He can’t hide something like PTSD from her for too long. Especially if they’re going to be together a lot.

A lot of this stuff affects me personally because I know what they are feeling even though situations are different and traumas are different, but I can understand them, regardless of agreeing with them or not. I spoke with someone right before this show started airing about how I was a little worried that it would trigger me and my own PTSD, but it hasn’t because mine and theirs are from totally different reasons. That said I could fully understand sympathize and feel with their feeling because regardless of what the reason is behind your PTSD, the symptoms are nearly always the same.

Oh, I’ll definitely watch it but after I get some sleep, lol been a very crappy night not for the reasons mentioned above, but just in general. So I hope to get some hours of shut eye.

Yeah, it’s a pretty bitter pill to swallow, but the actors are just nailing it. At least we get some episodes of them finally having the relationship they deserve.

I’m hoping the ending is different from the novel too. That’s my biggest prayer so far.

I see now I think. She is going through her own version of survivors guilt and she’s very tunnel vision so that means no one‘s going to break into her rationality. It’s a huge fault of course and she’s going to lash out at anything and anyone that stands in her way, even if it is the person that she cares about the most. Again, this is just from what you guys have told me I have not watched the episodes yet.

I meant what did Luo Zhan tell her? He had to set her straight. And that means revealing what LZ has been hiding; coma, PTSD, etc.

I’m going to have to pay close attention to these two episodes to make sense of what she could possibly be thinking given her own mental state. I’m not condoning anything she did before watching the episodes. I’m probably not going to condone what she did after watching the episodes, but I just want to see if I can understand her angle.

Oh she hurt him too? Because he hasn’t suffered enough? I hope she apologized to him in 16. Did Luo Zhan tell her finally what was really wrong with him? Or is she still in the dark thinking he just has a hearing problem.

That is my hope as well, but hearing from a lot of other people that Hope is starting to dim a little bit. I just don’t want him to become another missed to be saved PTSD statistic. Because it really hurts those of us dealing with PTSD though from different traumas and what not it still hurts when we know that there’s another one we could’ve saved, even though the character is obviously fiction.

That’s why I’m not going to watch until later on this afternoon. I wish he would extend kindness & compassion and healing toward himself as well because he’s the one that’s a walking ticking time bomb if he doesn’t.
