He’s not a hypocrite if he doesn’t know that side of his friend he’s never seen them argue. Plus with MM she doesn’t know the conversations that ML has had with AX regarding his “cheating“. You have to remember, MM is technically not part of the friend group so she doesn’t know what’s going on entirely unless SD tells her. SD also has not told his friends that he yells and throws shit at her or around her because I’m sure he would’ve been chewed out very quickly by his friends. Seeing it from a one-sided perspective, doesn’t make someone a hypocrite. Besides when he gave the advice or the critique to AX a few episodes ago, he said in that episode about three times that him and the other guys are to blame for not calling AX out on the cheating or the other woman thing before so he realizes his mistakes. If his friends want his help like SD did with borrowing the money, they will ask, and he will give and no problem so he’s far from a narcissist. YAY!!! All secrets have been revealed by FL and ML and even though FL panicked and ran, he brought her back! He accepts all of her; not all the fake whatever’s because of her past. I’m so glad they were so open with each other; FINALLY. And also put that AM Whiny 12 year old in her place. I hope we never have to see that stalker freak again! It was so out of the ordinary it wasn’t like “I wanna live with you forever yada yada yada” she asked him if it was a proposal he said yes she called him silly and he officially got on one knee and said, “will you marry the silly fool?” I think that for them that’s a great way for a proposal. Though I still think they are moving at the speed of sound, but I think they’re going to end up on top at the end and I hope we see their wedding.
Though I understand the anger management dude seems like he learned some sort of lesson from that chick in the bar from his company that seemed to give him some insight on how things work in relationships. We will see how he goes from now on with MM. But I do know that something like jealousy and those kinds of anger outburst don’t disappear overnight so I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of them.
The one thing I really did not like was the way the episode was edited. I really wish that when FL panicked and left with her suitcase and ML opened the door and she turned to him crying that we would’ve seen him walk over and hug her and drag her in the suitcase back into the apartment (because you know that’s what he would’ve done. He would’ve taken one step grabbed her into his arms and gave her the biggest hug while she cried, and then walked her back into the apartment and it would’ve been so important for us to see that because that’s exactly who he is) because the next time we see them, they’re on the couch and he’s holding her hand calling AM to prove he was barely at her place and also show feelings are one sided; she’s a delusional looney. It feels like this episode was very choppy in editing.
We are definitely not out of the woods with them yet because the ex needs to show up and that is she has to solve itself. But I was right in my guessing in the very beginning when I said the ex aka Zhen left him for greener pastures meaning she was the one who wanted to start the appraisal business, but as soon as he got in trouble, she just dumped him and got together with someone else. Now that he’s successful, I guess she wants to return and be in the limelight. I hope he sends her packing very quickly after issues arise with FL obviously her jealousy and insecurities are definitely gonna pop up. He has to be able to put the past to bed officially because we all know that from the story he told that he never got closure. And now we know for those who were doubting officially that ML is the green flag of the show. He’s not going to become a gray flag or a red flag. He’s going to stay green the entire time just like the readers of the manhua said.
I guess the next few episodes will focus on the married trio and Gong that whole mess because we haven’t seen them in a while as well as seeing LL’s play and all of that and I think we will see more of the couples that FL separated because of cheating spouse have issues. That’s why I always think that if there’s a cheating spouse, don’t get a third person involved figure it out on your own because they may get back together and then blame you, which is what it looks like happening in preview of 18 or 19. I also think Yu’s mental stability is on shaky ground.
