Well, the thing is is that MM is not part of the friends group. She was just an employee of Bei when SD introduced her so he really doesn’t know her well enough to make any type of decision. All he knows is that she was in a relationship with the dude who had two other chicks. But neither of the other guys him and Gong know of SD‘s demonic side. I guess he could say but it seems an episode 15 he’s learning from another woman that going crazy and being jealous and being 100% secure by depend depending on someone else will leave him in secure all the time so maybe it’s a lesson he will learn.

I don’t think they saw his obsessive side or his angry and jealous side. They’ve only seen his upset side and loyal side. Like him borrowing that money from XB for her photography studio. I think that’s why they think that they don’t want to see him get hurt, but they have not seen his angry obsessed self entitled she’s my property type of side. DS is not a very healthy person and he became obsessed with this one woman who wasn’t giving him the time of day and she was in love with someone else, and he was just not taking it and now that she has finally learned the truth about that someone else and has broken up with him, they got together way too quickly before anything was sorted out. So I think with XB and Gong they both haven’t seen the other side of the supposedly innocent, lonely, sad friend. So I think if they saw his crazy side, they would definitely change their minds about MM and all of that. But he’s only shown that side to her.

I think he will, but he needs the closure so his issue will come into play. I think probably in the 20s of episodes because the ex will return for what reason we don’t know but he’s going to have to figure out what’s most important to him and we know from clips and things that he understands that he really has let go of the past and is living in the present with the FL. But it does take getting the X back for him to understand that and let go of the past officially as well as the pain. But at least in today’s episode, he was able to let FL finally tell her truth and make her know that he does not care about her past that he only cares about her now.

I actually woke up and even though the subs weren’t synchronized, skimmed through 15 because I really wanted to know what happened (after a clip I saw on Weibo scared me a bit) even though a lot of the episode is given to Mr. Anger mgt; our couple got the majority of big secrets out and FL in a panic ran away but ML brought her back and he stuck it to the nosy AM bitch! I’ll watch properly this afternoon but I’m very happy the biggest secrets are no more!

Well, in today’s episode, he’s going to find out her secrets. Hopefully that’s where it’s going and I hope they clear up everything that needs to be cleared up.

He’s the only green flag out of the entire group of convoluted relationships that you were being introduced to. Apparently there’s a manhua also that this series is based off of and the fans of that said the same that he is the only green flag and ideal boyfriend. I also remember LYN talking about the character in a live stream that was translated and he said it’s the most different character he’s ever played and that he’s very principled and not what we are used to especially from his costume dramas. He also has flaws obviously and isn’t perfect but compared to all the other people he’s damn near perfect lol.

BQY? You mean XB? Nah them two love each other; their relationship is just moving at the speed of sound with her hiding her past. Hopefully in tomorrow/today’s episode both are able to confide in each other.

A.m. definitely needs exit stage left with like a cane ASAP. Well, hopefully with the upcoming episode, we will get a chance to really know more about XB’s passed and the ex and name and what not. But I also hope that FL comes clean completely about everything. It’ll be a weight lifted off her shoulders and I think ML will still care about her, regardless just like he told Gong when the subject of past life of FL came up.

As for Yu, she’s known for a long time that there was someone else she just didn’t know who it was. I just think that being spiteful with the mouth is not going to help her relationship if she wants to keep it. If she wants to divorce him, she could’ve divorced him a long time ago. It’s not just about cheating or having another person. They have plenty of other issues in their marriage that they need to work out some of which she’s also the problem not just the victim. Plus her reaction to FL in wanting to kill them and being totally serious about it. Kind of sent a little shiver up my back like is this woman mentally sound? Given the preview for episode 18 I don’t think so.

Well, today’s episode was definitely a feast for a lot of people. We got everyone in except the married trioand Gong. But that whole SD and MM thing I mean the ex-boyfriend cheater dude came in a good time to help which is nice but that’s where he should’ve just left it alone. Thankfully, she put him in his place but I think SD needs serious anger management classes, and the two of them should’ve never gotten into this relationship so soon after breaking up with cheater dude. SD thinks that just because he chased this woman for seven years that he has the right to scream and yell and throw tantrums like a 12 year-old and be jealous. Sure he can be jealous and angry as a human it’s his right, but not go completely apeshit and trash the house that’s scary. I mean, he can inadvertently hit her with all the shit he sends flying. I think she’s beginning to understand as well that she got into the relationship too fast and that she needed just some time alone to process. I mean, she got this photography studio off the ground, but doesn’t have enough actual photographers for situations like we saw today. First hire all the needed workers before you open a location.

I think we finally saw XB‘s ex girlfriend or at least her back as she walked or tried to into the store, but ran into FL and YH who sort of recognized her. And she provided her name to FL hence the drinking game that begin at the end of 14. I’m hoping that in 15 we will finally get the entire truth out from her and he can talk more about his ex without feeling like someone is stabbing him in the heart. I mean, they have to feel comfortable enough around each other to be able to talk about these things, especially with her and all of her secrets.

The conversation between FL and the little nosy sister about inviting FL and ML to her place and telling secrets is such crap. I would’ve put her in her place in two seconds flat. I would’ve been like “you know something, I understand you guys are friends, but what he and I talk about or don’t talk about and what my friends and I talk about are really none of your business.” FL has been a little too soft with some people that need a harder line. Because right now that chick still thinks she has a chance and she needs to understand she’s got zero of those.

Fingers crossed that tomorrow the secrets will all be out in the open for real about everything no more hiding.

She’s got the near perfect boyfriend our green flag ML. But she needs to be honest with him and I think that’s starting to come out as it did in today’s episode toward the end and hopefully tomorrow.

Exactly I’ve been thinking the same thing. Different relationships and different couples are different. He’s the type that doesn’t respond to yelling and verbal abuse and what not that’s not going to get him to change. I don’t think she has ever done anything for him other than the whole house over his head and somewhere to sleep and what not portion it seemed like she was a different person before they got together and then once they got married, she changed into a different person and as the time went on, she became this almost unbearable person to be around. Maybe the reason she doesn’t like his friends is because a lot of them have said the truth about her. She needs to be able to see herself and not just as a victim because she really isn’t. Or relationship especially a marriage is a two-way street. If something‘s not working it’s not always just the dude. Like you said cook him meals go away on vacations. You guys were talking about a dog before and it took you 10 years to get the dog. If you want him to focus only on you then maybe you should take some tips from the third wheel about being more respective of his stuff. Not saying he’s Mr. perfect cause Lord knows he’s screwed up like nobody’s business but many men that look outside the marriage, it’s because whatever’s happening at home isn’t making them happy. Considering the fact that he chased after her before then she had to completely change for him to be as miserable as he is. Playing devils advocate here. The other thing that got me was the fact that when she met with FL for that lunch or whatever when she asked, FL to gather evidence of AX cheating one of the things that really bothered me was that when FL asked her what are you going to do she said “kill them,” and then she kind of laughed and said “too bad that’s illegal.” That’s a massive red flag right there. She didn’t say divorce. She didn’t say anything else she just matter-of-factly said “kill them” and then in the I believe episode 18 preview you actually see her try to run him over! So this woman is not entirely right in the mind either and she can’t blame him for that. That’s her own issues.

It’s ok. Yeah I don’t understand why they couldn’t warm water up whether it’s summer or winter. Actors can act cold as opposed to the other way around where the water is freezing whether it’s the summer or the winter and then you have an actor that may get very sick. It doesn’t make any sense. If you have the extra change, you can definitely warm up water or add layers to winter costumes or take away layers for summer costumes.

Those are for winter production. I don’t get it either. Especially if the production has money.

I know they filmed back in 2023. The phones are product placement too. LYN wore a lot of Chanel jackets which he doesn’t endorse nor fit his character. Should have focused on the show now weird clothes placement.

Thought process on production not the show or storyline; they filmed in the dead of summer but literally everyone for the most part wears long sleeves, pants and sometimes even sweaters. This is a modern drama. If you’re filming in the summer, dress appropriately. It’s not a costume drama, with layers regardless of season. I’ve seen similar stuff in winter filmed moderns; they pretend it’s warm outside but in btwn takes, wear heavy ass jackets freezing cold. I don’t get it. Modern dramas should have appropriate costumes for the weather as they have that option to play with. Don’t know why 🤷🏻‍♀️.
