It's not even the age difference as much as she's a minor. And there should be something in her contract where she can't do anything romantic with anyone. The fact that the entire cast is younger than the original should have placed this in prequel status, not sequel. I hope that production fixes that.

The first time I saw the FL was in TLB and she was like 4 feet tall and possibly 12, (back then, WL as ML was already of legal age, but the kiss between him and Reba was still replaced by birds because in his contract, it said he wasn't allowed any romantic scenes past kissing her on the forehead). There is no way this can be a sequel having her as young as she is.

I’m sure he’s already where he’s supposed to be. I don’t think he is gonna go anywhere other than Weibo night though I’ve got to look at his schedule for this month.
