Apparently, YA only went to do some make-up tests or something of the sort. He was there and left very quickly.
Ok cool.

I only saw him get back into his vehicle from the make up station in the evening, but that's it.

On the seventh yea most of the main characters are going to IQIYI scream night. I don't know about ju jing yi…
It's normal for other dramas to keep things under wraps so perhaps if that's what they decide to do here it's fine too.

I saw on Weibo that now they are filming the scene where the dragon clan are slaughtered 😱😭
They don't exactly film in chronological order so very understandable.

For fellow TJR (and other curious folks) fans this is what I know so far for 12/5 filming; the four hour makeup session was insane (did they stick him into some avant guard wig or something? To be completely honest in the five years since I’ve fallen into this rabbit hole, I’ve never seen or heard of anyone actor or actress being in hair and make up for four hours). Literally everyone else even some Support people finished make up before him and they all got there before him too. YA was onset, though I didn’t see him go into make up, I saw him leave; haven’t seen any photos on his costume. And whatever TJRā€˜s costume and wig were; they are keeping it under such wraps that even when he was done with work, they completely covered him with umbrellas so fans and fan sites and paparazzi alike wouldn’t get a glimpse. There isn’t a single picture Reuters or otherwise circulating from filming on the fifth (a fan site I follow on Weibo specifically said that everything is totally incognito and covered, and nobody could get a glimpse of him leaving though he did leave around 11 to midnight their time). So whatever he was wearing, and whatever this character is, is very hush-hush, which is actually quite rare for GJM. Everyone else I think for the most part their pictures are in the gallery. Don’t know if this will continue for the next few days, but on the seventh, the majority of them are due for that IQIY scream night thing so I don’t think they’re going to be working either.

I myself don't really mind a sad ending as long as the storyline is good and the ending makes sense... Sad ending…
Though this year has been sad endings all around; I completely agree with you if it’s written very well then it can be a sad ending and that’s fine. Sometimes we have happy endings that are written quite poorly. And if it’s a sad ending all the characters, whether alive or not are remembered and many actors in their interviews have said the same thing that they would prefer to play a character with a sad ending because then their characters remembered more and that obviously is a highlight on their CV.

So I have a theory that the young female that gets introduced that ML ends up having a crush on really works for the killing creed. I just saw a preview where it looks like it’s her in the hospital room, leaning over the killer in doctors clothes and whispering something in his ear. I think she’s a mole. I hope I’m wrong but that’s where it seems like it’s heading.

Yeah, I totally agree. They keep yelling at him for losing the gun. He technically didn’t lose it. He was knocked…
I think he’s just one of those like hard ass cops that doesn’t like people that mess around or what not.

Looks like Joseph Zeng dragon character has gotten older. What is going on?šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤”. This just made me even…
TJR you mean not TJC lol. Actually both filmed; though one’s entire look was kept under wraps. YA finished filming 5 or 6 hours ago and TJR 3.

Four hours? I thought that the makeup process that Ju Jingyi and Chen Duling got was the longest. But it turns…
Sure.

Four hours?! 😭 You're working hard thanks
Yeah, four hours and we didn’t even get a solid shot of the hair, but it does seem like he’s wearing some version of a crown or something. Maybe later on shots with costume will reveal what’s going on.

After four hours, TJR is finally done with hair and makeup. I can’t even imagine what they put on him and he’s not even in costume yet. I may hang around to see if there’s a clear video somewhere and then I am calling it a night. Hopefully photos and other things will pop up overnight for me and I guess daytime for the rest of you guys.

Technically the gun was stolen. It didn't disappear. And now he's using the "you lost your gun, you lost your gun" thing every single time he's pissed with ML; which is childish coming from him. But then at the end of episode five I think he started to think that this entire thing was a set up, which is what I thought from the get-go as well.

All cars are ready to pick up their people, but it seems whatever they’re doing to TJR today is taking the longest time (3 hours and counting) in hair and make up. Even though his car is ready to pick him up it’s been standing there for nearly an hour.

Edit: His car moved so either Joseph's or CDL's can move up and pick up their people. He's apparently still not done.

OK, that 2nd black car was in fact we think Joseph now and just now a car zoomed past everyone and they all seem in consensus that it is in fact CDL. So three leads are on in hair and makeup +2 other folks. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

Edit: TJR’s car is getting ready to pick him up, so he’ll be first to set.

Maybe but I don’t know this person and I’m not sure the staff would approve unless it came from a direct source of some sort. That’s something I don’t understand with series. You obviously have a sizable support cast. Why don’t you just write all of their names down don’t just put the old people that you barely see on screen; while all of the middle cops or middle gang people run around and actually do stuff. Frustrating šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø. I think the only way this can be fixed is someone who reads Mandarin to look through the ending credits as they roll and fix it that way.
