I’m in the homestretch to finishing finally. I will say this, though I will write a review and an unbiased one as I always do. But I will say this I will always watch a Yin and War’s series no matter how ridiculously weird or just lacking the plot is because those two young men have improved so much in their acting. I just wish they could go mainstream and show it off properly. The scripts are just absolute messes; absolute total messes. And no offense to a lot of the other folks that were their friends, they need more acting classes.
i loved it but the thing that got me annoyed was Hoy holding the gun so close to carbon even if youve never shot…
Dude emptied the entire clip all over the place and managed to hit his friend in the ass, but not the actual person who he should’ve shot at. It’s just ridiculous.
They really are. I mean when Jack had the gun it never occurred to him to shoot boss? I mean you can make the episode shorter. It’s OK. The plot just doesn’t make sense otherwise. Shoot boss take the ring (throw it into mt doom) wham Bam boom you’re done, call the cops, save everyone bring everybody to the hospital that needs to be brought to the hospital and your heroes of the city. Like what could be better but no, we got a drag it out even the fight scenes seem to be in slow motion. Looks like this is going to be another one of those “plot sold separately” reviews.
Lots of missed opportunities to end the fight, but have to go and grab each other. War had the tablet next to him and he just stood there watching could’ve grabbed the damn thing. Though Yin and War’s acting has just blown me away along with some of the mainstream folks. The plot could not be more ridiculous. Sorry. Still watching; got like another half hour ago.
I feel angry at the outcome even if it was done beautifully. Just let him live! He suffered so much as a child.…
I don't believe he had a cure either. I think he was just trying to get himself a get out of jail free card. I really wish they would've shown his execution if that was the way he died. Because ZJR just said he's dead. He didn't really go into details of the how.
Wtf is wrong with Chinese writers this year I just got raw 7 drama with sad ending! My heart can't handle the…
I didn't watch the last two but the first three with the exception of the first one; the other two were told to be tragedies and sad endings. Even before they aired, we were told that and we knew it so for people surprised, shouldn't be surprised because that was the whole point of both stories from the get-go. As for this one, everyone is kind of on board with it being an OE/SE but one that was written slightly differently. That said this year definitely has a lot more of these types of dramas then I think we have seen previously and you also forgot to mention KMLM lol.
Oh I love Poirot! Huge fan. Sherlock too. At this point, I think I want a drama that I could understand easily but still has my attention captivated I guess. Maybe I will wait until all the episodes drop. I don't know. It's just not pulling me in right now especially the whole CCP propaganda in the synopsis bit. I'm OK when it's in the background and not like the primary focus because I prefer mystery, cop/crime, Investigation type of stuff.
I asked someone else about it and they said that it was very spy heavy and that you had to pay attention or you would miss the details. How’s the whole propaganda machine? Is it being shoved down your throat or is it manageable?
See that’s the thing that I will never compromise is being honest about what I’m watching. Because there’s so many deluded and delusional people writing reviews that only focus on their particular actors or whatever they focused on and they don’t see the big picture. I’m not going to lie just to make some viewers feel better. I’m going to be honest, sometimes even brutally honest, especially if the drama is a hot mess. Because people don’t deserve to be misled.
